This is an optional Cosplay event, but a fun event none-the less!

Event : Free Hugs Campaign
When:Friday February 6th
What Time: Noon-Six
Where!: Lloyd Center Mall, DownTown Portland
What's Happening:

We are holding a Free Hugs Campaign of our own. We are doing this in costume(Not required), and would like other people that are like-minded to show up. Why? Because we wanna spread the emotion of peace to everyone! This campaign is to increase goodwill and just generally spread out the good word about a hug.

Because a Hug can do so much for a persons day. Think about it, when you aren't feeling well and someone gives you a hug, it generally makes you feel better. This event is to increase Portland's goodwill towards each other. Because hopefully when we give out our hugs, more people will want to join us!

We will be meeting in DownTown Portland, at Lloyd Center Mall(Its off of the Max Line for those that take the bus), and it will be at Noon to Six this Friday. Please attend, and bring a costume to wear if you like! Wear something that you wouldn't mind hanging out for hours on end in, and not freeze your bum off in!

Food and other eating facilities are nearby, and there should be plenty of places we could find a restroom in! Please come and help spread the word of a Hug!

I can miss a day of Amtgard to come to this. I might even come as the pirate I cosplay as down there, but I'll be toting Red the Ninja along too.

I haz work till 4 then I am working at the Portland Childrens Theater for the play "Click, Clack, Moo" But you guys have fun!

See thing is, it's not soliciting so it's not Illegal! Meet up spot is by the Ice Rink, it's where we will do most of it, until like three.

I just noticed something, a lot of people wont be able to go to this because they have school.....if it was on a weekend it would be better for this group.

It's on a Friday, because that's when we decided to do it. It's running till six, maybe even later. So -shrugs- It's a Friday night, and runs till rather late, which means people can go to it after school.

Sorry you don't agree on the date, Nikkiole, but to be quite truthful... sometimes weekends can be quite... problematic as well.

LOL so my friend who was up visiting from California was at the mall that weekend and when she uploaded pics of her trip I totally realized she got a pic of you guys! I thought it was pretty special.
