This is the promotional blurb for a roleplaying game I'm in. We're looking for members, so I thought I would post it here!To whom it may concern:
A small group of dedicated FMA fans have begun a roleplaying game on Greatestjournal. It is meant to be the FMA roleplaying game to end all. Why? Because we are collectively /tired/ of RPs that overflow with lame Mary Sues and Marty Stus, players who can't spell or stay IC or even stick with a plot, and have no storyline or direction.
Fullmetal Folly is a post-series roleplay that follows its own timeline, taking what information we have so far about the movie and running with it in its own direction. It is planned to be finite, with a definite plot and an ending. And it is looking for talented, dedicated writers to flesh out the ranks.
Why post this here? Because most of us in Fullmetal Folly are serious fans. The literate kind. The kind that snark at ff.net and bemoan the influx of idiotic spellcheck-phobic preteens into our fandoms. And we know that there are kindred spirits who read and post here. If you, like us, are a cheerfully unapologetic elitist snob of an FMA fan, by all means drop by the site and audition. (Yes, we are holding auditions. There's information on the main page.)
All characters who are living and in Ed's world at the end of the series are available, except for those already taken (Edward Elric, Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Izumi Curtis, and Winry Rockbell).
