don't worry i've had a working ddr pad for only a 3 weeks (funny i got it at x-mas and out of the people who could break it (plus size purple link me, older bro with feet bigger than head, younger who jumps hard it was my 60 lbs cousin) but with school i don't get to play a lot, i'm good at beginner and a few light but thats it, i'm like best of the easyest, so if you do ddr after me, you'll look realy good and talented

Hehe... I'm still not sure what I'm bringing... oh btw rarnom... we can't get that banquet room I guess. Apparently it's part of NWH's space so they're going off on all that contract BS and stuff so we just pretty much said screw em lol... We could set this up in the hall pretty easily though.

My three sibs and I are bringing cookies again. This time many, many more cookies and possibly a few varieties. It depends on how much I can get made saturday morning between watching Shamen King and the new Tokyo Mew Mew episodes ~_^ lol.

Leslie isn't that big of an anime fan but she owns a few Manga...
But this one girl, Lindsay, URGH.
She's like the friend everyone has, but no one seems to know why she hangs out with you. She's obsessed with Fruits Basket and that's the only thing she'll read. She also trys to be 'bad' but, yeah. Saying 'hell' isn't that bad. >.>
Anyway, I might bring some kind of fruit. God knows we'll all be eating pocky and sushi/sashimi. >D

at first i was thinking winter pocky for some reson so i got this "rich chocolate mint fudge" frosteing and was about to get a box of "butter" yello cake mix but i saw this one with party swirl that make 3 diff colors (white blue and red) and i thought "hey I'M going to a party..." i am very subseptible to sugestions so i went with that

Yeah! I just heard about that too!

I remember the tv version of the show used to be on OPB for-ever ago.

I used to listen to the radio version of it on NPR religiously back in the day when I was a little kid. Pretty funny stuff.

what a party! I'm still recovering... for the record we counted 105 in attendance. We had over 20 people in EACH of our tournaments as well. I think we all had a good time.

I realize that with the April one being the same weekend as Sakuracon and Rarnom being out of town that a lot of the anime group will be absent, but we'll make up for it in May.

the one in april is not during sakura con. It says its on the 14th, Sakura con is on the 8th 9th and 10th. the 14th is on a thursday. i think. :-/

April 14th is the meetup at the bubble tea place downtown. Each month on the second Thursday we meet in the evening (7pm-9pm) to read manga, play GO, and sometimes watch anime at SIP downtown. Last time we had 21 people there. You should come. It is always a good time.

Lol... second Saturday actually is the 14th (or so Windows tell me). But it'll all depends on where we decide to have it and what is available.... we'll see....

I'm thinking we should look into what's available on campus that weekend and at the least reserve it for a back up. I'll talk to Hubert about that later this week.

Here is what I know about the April party:

They will only have the one room reserved for the April event, which means half the space.
That space will be used for the LARGE group of LAN gamers and HALO 2 gamers.
So, you are welcome to come to the April party, but there will not be any anime type stuff because...
I won't be there to run the anime/live action viewing, manga tables, art, and etc...
but that isn't a big deal because there wouldn't be the room for it anyway... :wink:

and since most anime folks will be at Sakuracon it works out.
