The Slants have been nominated in three categories for the Portland Music Awards: Album of the Year, Band of the Year, and Best New Band. We're the first and only Asian act to ever be considered for the awards, we need your help to win! You can do so by taking a few moments to vote here:

Dante's is Jan 25th, I think it's $5-$10 at the door or so.

LOL I would love to see you guys at Dantes but that is the day of my baby shower, it might seem odd if I left early to go to a stripclub and see a band, not to mention the 7 months pregnant thing....

Maybe next time!

Though just a clarification, Dante's isn't a strip club, its a concert venue. Sometimes they have nude events but hat's usually late in the evening, after the bands once a week. Their other club however, Devil's Point, is a full on strip club
