I would like to see a Beatmania game there and as far as fighting games go, street fighter or King of Fighters. I want more king of fighters though.

King of fighters is better than Street Fighter MUHAHAHAHA

Kof I'd like to see 98 or 2003

I dunno about MVC2... All I see are Cable users now a days and it just gets boring for me. It'd be nice to play against someone who wasn't so cable-happy

True. Those who do the thousand-hit-combo or whatever always use a different combination of Cable, Magneto, Storm, War Machine, or Iron Man.

yeah, though the counters stop at 999....
and dont forget sentinel....
god I hate that game

BUT I LOVE KOF

I got it for the ps2, and since kumoricon is just 30min away, I can bring my ps2... I have kof2k2 for it, the second only to kof98...
I also have them for my DC, too... but the ps2 version doesnt have load times which are a bitch on the dc

Id definitely be down for some good competition in that, dunno about beatmania though

May Soul Calibur 2 never leave the gaming tournament programming schedule.... EVER.

...Well, okay, not "ever."

Just until Soul Calibur 3 comes out. ;)

Now that would be a great idea :)

I see the little asian kid at the arcade who played days on end kicking my butt every round. (note: this never actually happened, just referencing a great PvP comic)

There's always some hotshot little Asian kid, it seems... for me it was with DDR. >_<

Haven't seen him around for a long time, though.

PIE:

Yeah, I played the original SF2 very briefly. It's rather unbalanced with some attacks just tromping all over others.. but at least you know where you stand, since there aren't around 50 characters and several hundred moves to keep track of. :P

SF3 had a smaller list of characters than other installments, correct?

I dunno, haven't tried it. Only conventional versus fighting game to ever keep my interest is the Soul Calibur series.

Rival Schools or RS:Project Justice (Dreamcast) would be totally awesome at Kumoricon!  I loved both games. Go Kyosuke!

OH!  A GREAT IDEA JUST STRUCK ME!

Can there be a Team Super Smash Brother Melee tournament?  Like 2 vs 2.  Team Kakashi vs. Team Spork, stuff like that would be totally awesome!  (I hope an admin or kumoricon worker sees this)

cuz i would LOVE that... and theres no reason for me to buy a GCN other than harvest moon AWL, and even then its still money i dont have/ would rather spend at kumoricon

there is a ps2 version, right? i think i read that on here somwhere...

the naruto 2 theyre talking about is for gcn
I still havent seen it, but gc version is a broken and actiony game, as opposed to the ps2's less actiony, less broken style...

I'd love to see a DDR and SM tournament held at the convention, I mean, Kumoricon should be anime and video games, since they seem to go hand and hand. If I only knew about the con sooner. Just so happens I found out about it yesterday while reading the living section...

I love Naruto 2 for GC, after playing that soul calibur 2 is agonizingly slow. The second naruto for PS2 should be out but it is sooo much harder to play import ps2 over GC. I should be getting Naruto 3 for GC soon, Lik-Sang sent it out a week ago about  :D
