Like alot of anime fans I am a big AMV (Anime Music Video) fan and I am always in search for new AMVs and maybe some other people out there are looking to find some good AMVs too. So I am asking you what are your favorite AMVs. Mine are listed below.

@Blackstar - I like all three! I aready had Attack of the Otaku. It is one of my all time favorites. Whatever doesn't give you epileptic seizures makes you stronger.

Have you seen Chiikaboom's SugardanSen? I think you will like it. (YouTube ver)

@Tofutakeout - I like the second one Shake It! I wish I could figure out a way to download it.

May not be my favs, but I found them today and wanted to share:

A Crazy Anime Tribute - I like this one for a couple of reasons. One is that my wife has been running the Unofficial Cats Don't Dance Fansite since 1997, so the song is definitely one I am familiar with. Another, is that I recognize all the anime being shown, and lastly, the creator of the AMV made an effort to do lipsink. I think that adds quite a bit to any AMV.

Crazy Anime Music Fan Video. This one is just fun. Crazy music , and zany anime. Well done!

A beautiful video about the celebration of all that is life. Beauty, sorrow, pain, love, blood, hate. Everything it has to offer. While even the creator will tell you it's simply an anime version of the song's original video, it exhibits such emotion to me that it's become my favorite AMV since it came out five years ago.

"I Stand Alone" by Godsmack
Somehow, the creator managed to do a character profile video about a guy possessed by the king of demons and do it majestically. Frankly, anyone who can make a lip sync be taken seriously deserves congratulations regardless.

A Different Side of Me
Golden Boy
"Unwell" by Matchbox 20
The song already conveys thoughts and feelings I have all the time, as I'm sure countless others have. But to add in one of my favorite animes to it, and to perfectly portray the perverted, undeniably likeable main character makes this one as another top video.

Did you then realize that the grungy dude is the lead singer of the band that sings the song?

I think the song is telling the opposite actually: to not wait, to run past the moments of hesitation and live. More to the point, it focuses on the concept of pain and the instinctive response to turn away from it whenever possible. However, continually following this instinct robs the person of the eventual pleasures that come in allowing the possibility of pain, as well as helps appreciate those pleasures. Shinji from Evangelion learns this same lesson himself in the end of EoE. The AMV, as well as the song's actual music video, displays various aspects of life itself, to present all it has to offer by allowing oneself to be vulnerable and taking risks, both physically and emotionally.

no, it was just something that somanyturtles and I threw together, when I was teaching him how to use Sony Vegas. I'll tell you that it involved Celine Dion's song "My Heart Will Go On", Death Note, Transformers, and Excel Saga...and a couple of accidental yaoi pairings.

At the Creator Meet-Up rollthestampede expressed interest in seeing Beck AMVs... although in retrospect he could've meant BECK the anime instead. But this reminded me of a creator I don't think gets the attention he deserves: Copycat_Revolver, who is one of my personal favorites and who has made a number of Beck AMVs.
