HEY GUYS!
So great Idea! Let's have a valentine's day meet up~
Either on valentines day or the weekend of!
What do you think?
When should it be, where, and what time!
We have like 2 months to plan~

LET THE DISCUSSION BEGIN!

SO I THINK WHAT'S BEEN DECIDED IS THAT THE MEET-UP WILL BE AT BRIDGEPORT IN BEVERTON
AROUND NOON, ON THE 14TH OF FEBRUARY.

Due to the Dance being on the 7th, We've changed the meet up to the 14th!

lol same here for being single. but maybe people can bring their other halfs and hang out. then have a romantic evening later or something? who knows what we can do.

lol it seems we all are. I'd say lets make this maybe a singles party so everyone can maybe meet someone but I don't want to exclude couples.

yeah we could have a candy trade off thing. everyone brings some candy treats and we play a game with it. I'm not sure where I'm going with this but as you can see it's not fully developed yet.

I see what you are getting at sounds like it can be fun. We can call it "Secret Cupid" and you bring a candy (or we could do gifts) for someone.

yeah I was thinking sort of like secret santa but then that would mean it would like telling someone 'this is who your going to crush on for the evening' XD not gonna work to well. well maybe we could do like put numbers or clues on some of the candy and then give matching numbers to people and then the candy somehow connects them. and we could even make the game so it works for all preferences that come. boyxboy, girlxgirl, and boyxgirl.

I know that is the problem. My good friend (not a anime fan) dad is the owner of the ZONE (the portland teen club) I know it is a very long shot but I can try to persuade him for us to use the zone.

We need more ideas for locations. I am going to watch some House M.D. and think about it. But i still think someone house would be the best location for this type of event.

weekend before could be an option. sort of like a pre-valentine event. leaves the actual holiday open for people then.

ya the week before is a good idea. Is the 7th good. It would give the chance for real couples to spend that weekend together. I was thinking about a it being at a school or maybe a office building. What about that

well if the space is open for us then I guess it would be good. but we should wait a little bit before we get a place because we need to know how many are coming. and what activities we want to do and how much space they might need. yeah I say lets movie it to the weekend before.

Ok I quickly read through most of it and got the gist. The 14th is a good day for me and I should be able to make it

I like the idea of a gift exchange, though I didn't quite get how to do the one you were talking about. Could someone expand on that a little more?

Also the speed dating is a good idea and a bad idea. There is too wide of an age range. We would have to split it up into two categories over 18 and under 18. Plus I am not sure how many people would be willing to do it. I know I wouldn't want to. There are too many creepy guys lurking around the internet and I don't want to deal with that >_>;

Everything else seems like a good idea. Maybe if people cosplay they could cosplay couples/pairing? I think that would be fun and there could be some sort of arch way to get a pairing picture taken under or something....Just a thought and since it is so far out it might work. People could get costumes together. I know that Bridgeport has BEAUTIFUL places to take pictures so maybe instead of getting a full costume together you could just do winter versions. Like with big fur coats (look at my avatar for example)

Those are my few cents. I also might get my parents to ok this at our house but we would have a limit to the number of people that can go >_>

Is this going to be on the 14th or 7th. I want to say the 14th. But what do you guys think. The is a very very good point about the speed dating with the split up of 18+ and under 18. It will matter what day becuses if it on the 7th i will be 17. But if it on the 14th i will be 18. so what will it be.
