club fundraising ideas <3

so I'm the president of the otaku club at David Douglas high school and we're trying to come up with ideas for fund raisers. and things to tell people why we need the money. >_>

we'd like them to be 'Otaku' themed. so not just anime or manga. our club is about doujins, fanfics, merch, cosplay, food, music, games, man you name it we love it. :3

we had an idea of making homemade pocky(because of the already started topic. we have handlers cards, don't worry), anime themed cookies, possibly drawing pictures for people, and seling cup o' noodles for a buck.

right now we're trying to come up with something christmasy but I think it's too late to submit things for activities. but hey for any other holiday is awesome. :3 and not just name brand ones. XD if you have a holiday that any otaku should or would like to know by all means tell me and have a fund raising idea to go along with it. ^_^

cat ears is a good idea but might take too much time an resources. and we don't want to charge to much for anything. these are just a bunch of high school students.

Have a sponsored marathon run. Get all the holiday-themed episodes from various shows you can manage, and watch them all in a row. Money based on how long the competators stay in there.
