In only a matter of weeks, schools will let out for winter break. That's right people, winter break is almost here... we just need to survive finals and final projects for school first.
But once school gets out and you don't have to worry about homework or tests, what will you all be doing? Or at least, what do you WANT to do?

I think it's safe to say that ALL of us need money. I know most people here need money for their cosplays, myself included. I know need to start saving up money so I have some spending money for Kumoricon. Hell, last year I spent $160 in just two days (I think we all know how easy that can be). And I know I need a $!#+ load of money to get an electric guitar, and then a few years to practice before I can do my ultimate cosplay.

I don't really have plans, I'll likely work holidays for extra monies.  Usually don't join in gift giving.  People expect gifts at christmas, it is more meaningful to give gifts randomly when not expected.

ok well I got my Thanksgiving weekend work schedule and all I have to say is x.x

So far I work Wednesday, Thursday (Of Thanksgiving), Friday and Saturday. About 7 hours each day. Which is great because I really really need the money....but man I get no break x.x

The only final I'm really worried about is math.  Bleh, I hate that class.  But according to the formula the professor gave us, if I keep doing as well as I have been, I'll get a B or a C...  Not great, but passing.  I'd absolutely HATE to have to re-take this class.

GRAH.  My professors in my first two classes next Wednesday canceled class, but then my other two profs didn't.  One even assigned a midterm!  Grr.

But good news, I have an interview with UPS on Friday.   If all goes well, I might be a driver's helper over Winter Break, which would be AWESOME.  My friend has done it for the past two/three years, and he says it's a lot of fun.

And actually....doing the math you could get $600 just with one part time job. 15 days working 5 hours each day times $8 per hour. That is $600. If you get a part time job they are going to ask you to work more than 5 hours some days, just tell them you want to work as much as possible.

Well I don't think you are going to get a job painting houses right now. If this was summer bring I would give you some info but sadly it isn't. At my school there is always people handing out fliers for painting in the summer. And it pays like $10 an hour or more.

Yay Physics!  HS physics and the first bit of calc based physics were fun / challenging.  Then when we started getting into electrical fields and properties of semiconductors it started to become torture.

I need to make up a physics test before the term ends.  This is the last week of classes.

Yay Physics!  HS physics and the first bit of calc based physics were fun / challenging.  Then when we started getting into electrical fields and properties of semiconductors it started to become torture.

Luckily I'm done passed and over with all the physics classes I need to take.

Yeah; I've got Physics 211 right now.  It's pretty basic, but I haven't really been going to class lately, so I'm going to wind up with a B or a C.

I have my first final tomarrow, and then my second final on wednesday. I'm not worried about the first final, it's only on what we've covered since our last final. Then second one, in Psychology, will be on EVERYTHING. (Yeah, not looking forward to it).

Just need to finish the final draft for a paper, and do that blasted website for Frinq (which is due thursday).

My social psychology will be over everything but I really enjoy that class and seem to have a good understanding of the material. I hope that the essay that he chooses will be on the group projects and why they are bad. I just wrote that and I had a full page of notes that could be included where the other essays had about fourth a page And the funny thing? I wasn't even there for the classes about groups XD

My cognitive psychology is only over three chapters and shouldn't be too hard. Japanese is over everything and as long as I study for it I should be good. I'll actually memorize the kanji this time

took 2 years of japanese since thats how much you need to pass high school. yeah passed with a D. I couldn't stand the teacher. she did not know how to freaking TEACH. >:[ that's what else I think I'll do this break. practice my japanese some more. and some french too.

The teachers I have had have done a great job. I have learned a lot but the issue I have is the orals. I wish there was a better way to do those because I haven't done great on those since the second term (I'm in my fourth now)

my german professor made a CD-Rom which is our text book.  im a visual learner but we get taught oraly in class...rawr...

several and it's a different teacher for each.  I have my friend ken=Chinese, my friend kaj=French, Japanese I'm learning by myself since I hated the teacher so much, and German is a bunch of my relatives since I am German, and my cousin wants to teach me Spanish. I want to be bilingual but JEEZ. sometimes I can't take it.

I actually had a teacher in Highschool who gave me a B just cause she didnt give A's to anyone. She killed my overall GPA for all 4 years. I was a graduating 3.976 after 4 years and I still resent her. I tried contesting and she came up with lame excuses for why I recieved the grade I did.

I took my last two finals today. The Bio one went really well, I think (and that's saying a lot, because it was my hardest class). As for phonetics... I'm hoping I did as well as I think I did (which is better than I thought I'd do).
