waking up at 5:30 in the morning isn't going to be fun but at least I get to go to it when I thought I wasn't going to be able to, once more, YAY!!!

I don't have to pay for a hotel at sakuracon so I should have a lot more money

though it looks like we have to pay for parking which may be a lot. I think we are going to try to find another way to get there. But it might be a little embarrassing taking the bus in costume >_>;

You only need about $150 to go to all the anime conventions. Well, I guess more like being pre-regged. Hell, I was going to sleep in the car if I had to but I found out it's only like an hour drive from where I live, Tacoma. Not much food the first day for me but I had some spare cash and I'm going to take sammiches with me tomorrow! Rock Band tournament was today, Guitar Hero is tomorrow, I'm aiming to get first in both but the GH one should be more tough since I don't own it and have only gotten to play it for about an hour (probably more) at Aki-con. Aki-con isn't very big but it's a nice one.

Yeah cons really aren't that expensive if you know what to do. Know friends in the area that you can stay with and what not.

unfortunatnly my buddies are wayyy to far away from the cons on this coast.... if i wanna go to any in NY or surrounding states im good lol... oh well, I love being broke anyway

Last day of Aki-con. It could use some improvements but it was still fun. Chuck Herbert was there, and so was Vic. Well, guess I'll just hope they are able to work more things out next year.

Akicon was really fun! The hotel staff was really friendly and most of them were excited. The con staff were really great, as most of them were around 8 - 12. XD I felt bad for them though that they had to stay up all night, but I think they really enjoyed it.

Yeah, most of the staff were way underaged. Aki con was extremely leanient. Anyone could get into anything so long as they produced a badge. There were no minor badges, and the hotel staff and con staff didn't mind how late you were up, just so long as you kept a clear path in the hallways.

Thats good to hear, one of the more annoying things was having to take minors home at a certain time. Good to know that they didn't have that there

Yeah, panels and such were all on time. A few panels ran maybe 5 minutes or so over their time, but everything was pretty much in groove.

The minors that were with us were staying at the hotel, and we said we weren't taking responsibility, which was fine, cause in the end no one cared how old you were anyway.

well it's good to hear that it didn't seem to run into any problems for it's first year. I am really looking forward to ANY con at this point. I should request the days off for Mew con and order my badge >_>

thats really cool that age didnt matter. we usually have at least one minor with us and its always a pain when they have to leave and the other 3 or 4 of us can stay...
