Resident Evil: Degeneration is an all CG-film that takes the zombie action of the blockbuster Resident Evil franchise to a new level with stunning visual effects and heart pounding suspense.

The film takes place seven years after the "Umbrella Incident" that took place in Raccoon City. When a commercial airliner unwittingly delivers some deadly cargo a second outbreak begins. Now, in an airport beginning to fill with the undead, the horrific disaster is set to repeat itself. The movie is due to come out on DVD and Blu-Ray December 30th, characters include Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. I for one am psyched to finally see a good Resident evil movie.

Why wouldn't it be in English? I thought the VA's were good for the games, and the fact that Leon's voice remains the same as it did in RE4 makes him even sexier. ¦D

I don't see anything wrong with it. I've experience Resident Evil in English my entire life. I think it'd be odd if it were in Japanese only. I'm sure there's an option for Japanese audio. Unless the Japanese really did just make the film in English. Which still wouldn't seem odd to me, since the characters in it aren't really Japanese to begin with.

I liked Ashley. She was the typical annoying blonde girl who was important. It was kind of a love hate relationship, though. When she made me angry, I'd shoot a bazooka at her, or I'd throw a grenade her way. ¦D
But overall, she was entertaining, and kept me company when I was playing the game alone in the dark. x.x I laughed when she was denied, though.

I've always been under the impression that the original voice actors for the Japanese games were English speakers and the game had Japanese subtitles. Remember, the game takes place in the US.

just because it takes place in the US means it starts off in English. there is still the fact that its made in Japan. still, thinking on it, there is a number of other games that start off in English as well(I think Ace Combat is one).

It was alright. I still enjoyed it because I'm a fan. I just didn't like Angela or whatever her name was. That's what brought the movie down, because.. well I'm not going to spoil anything.

Other then that, it was really good! And Leon... ohho.. that man. I still want to pour sweet cream all over him.

I'm pretty much free, too! Although, I'm not sure which days we're working on our Cosplay for this coming weekend, but I'll let you know!

All the Target's in Vancouver sell it. I got the last on at my store.

LOVE the movie. Leon is still my hero. They did Claire very well in this too, I thought. Its very good. I kept waiting for the cinema to stop so I could shoot zombies LOL. Its very much like the game in many situations, well worth buying for any Resident Evil fan.

I agree that the other female character wasnt as well developed as I would have liked her to be but even the video games had characters that seemed "out of place" at times. It made it even more realistic and videogame-like for me.

Looks fantastic! I am planning to pick it up within the next month or so (if Kahlan doesn't get it for me first, heh). I have not even played a single second of a Resident Evil game, so I may be cheating or skipping some crucial steps, but oh well. The movie looks friggin' good!

I hate reviewers, all they do is skew opinions. I say watch the movie then read the reviews, they may offer adittional insight but your opinion shouldnt be biased to begin with. *of course thats my opinion for ALL movies/reviews.*

Been awhile since the last reply here, but I recently watched the movie for like, the tenth time the other day and I still like it :) Sure it's not the best movie out there, but I appreciated the use of CG animation and some well-known characters from the games to connect this movie to the video game series and separate it from the Milla Jovovich series.

I watched it the other day and, it wasn't the worst thing I've seen, but it definitely didn't even attempt to push the zombie envelope, so to speak. Everything in that movie had been done before, and the CG was weak, felt like watching video game.

Then again, I've been spoiled by Square Enix. After being accustomed to Final Fantasy and Advent Children, everything else can't help but look like crap, haha.
