This is a thread to talk, post, and just show the world what makes you come to Kumoricon over and over and what drives you to be dedicated to it as such you do.

It can be about the meetups the forums have held, Kumoricon itself, or the friends you made because of it! Anything and everything you can think of is welcome here!

My personal favorite:

My large group of friends at the con: Syd, Hazzel, Dana, Bella, Tanis, Monica, Amber, Meagan, Inu, Ashley, and SO SO many more! Also, who could forget about my twin?

And my wife!

The random moments that make it all worth it. That you look back on and say 'Hey! I remember that!' and end up laughing your butt off because of it.

bringing old friends, making new ones, the cosplayers, cosplaying, some of the events, and the random oddities that go on during the weekend. :3 some of the greatest craziest things happened then and I'm proud and happy I went.

I think the one thing that was the most awesome, was

1 getting a stalker sucker
2. actually getting to work with the con's Yojimbo it was amazing and i can't wait to work for the next Kumori con XD

The best thing of all was seeing everyone from the forums in real life. I made some beautiful friends that I will cherish forever! *looks dramatically into sunset* <3

I haven't cosplayed yet so I can't speak to that, but the reason I've been coming for the past three years is because I LOVE to people watch and meet new people. Plus, K-coin is an awesome chance to hangout with friends I haven't seen for a while, and have a really good time surrounded by my fellow nerds.

ah that was some fun times. I wouldn't really wan to say everything about the con was likable. a lot of crap happened like thefts, and creepy people, and other usual con problems. like costume malfuctions; had a few of those. >_<

for me my favorite part is just plane walking around :3 Or I guess hanging out is a better way to put it, I had so much fun just wandering from place to place, hanging out in the park, and circling the line in costume and starting up random chats with people :3

K con is the place where you just kinda see some one, say hi, and before you know it your fast friends <3 I made a lot of real great friends this year that I'm really happy I met

and of course I got to see some of my friends from previos cons ^oo^

Cosplay, cause its just so fun to be some one /something else for a day! I mean seriosly it is, for me its a chance to get a brake from the real world and just enter a whole new universe

and also the raves... I never danced before >.> sure swayed a little at my winter formal in a large group with my friends, but never actualy DANCED. Some how I didnt even have to try here I just did ^oo^ It was so much fun, and the random conga lines coming through were awsome, (I joined all of them)

cosplay skits, cause I got to be an extra again this year for Bang Bang Neko :3 It was fun getting ready for it, and then of course actualy preforming it, it was a bit of a rush to ^o^ being up on stage like that.

so yeah pretty much all of it ._.

oh the insanity of it all. at last years masquerade my friend and I were the ones to start the first one since the dance, was well a little boring the first time. XD

oh dear where to begin!! The new friends, the dealers room, the DN photoshoot, the amv contesrt was sooo wonderful! I freaked out when my amv was chosen for the preshow

and THE MASQUERADE!!! Ooooh~ that was so wonderful! I saw the cutest dancing couple and the music and dooooo'h wonderful yes :3 and catchxme, remember when i helped you to dance? :3 *was with oslapedo's group for dance*

I have to say, the cosplay is my favorite part of Kumoricon. Seeing everyone's costumes, wearing my own, pictures, the works! So much fun. :3

I want to meet more people though! I must be more social!

It has a really laid back atmosphere and the staff and people are really nice.. kinda like how Oregon is in general.

Actually, I like that fact that it's OREGON'S anime convention. For years, us Oregon-otaku had to migrate either north, south, or east (or if we could afford it, west) if we wanted to go to an anime convention, now we only have to drive a few hours at most to go nerd it out for Labor Day weekend ^_^.

Me and my friends getting random hugs and giving them! I also loved my "I will eat chu brainz" sign I carried around and scared a few, made others laugh and even got a few pics taken of me. It was crazy. Taz is kewl like dat, 'yo!

And my MOST favorite part was seeing the drunken Lee. I had to have my friends keep me from stalking him all the time. >:3

lol, I guess I might have a special love for Manry because he stayed up and talked with me, when my friend (and ride)
forgot me at con... I was soooo depressed like you have no idea, but he was sooo sweet..

dont feel bad at all, I've lived in oregon (portland) for more or less my whole life, and I have few friends here.
