@oslapedo
I can't have a polite discussion on language?

@mustash
what valid reason is there for locking a thread we are having a polite conversation on the nature of language?  all of the heat has already left

Connection!

Prohibiting subjects to be spoken of is almost as bad as banning books.
It's banned book week, so go read some "controversial" stuff!  :D

Patrick: Stop intimidating my kingdom with your mod powers and the queen and I shall grant you and lotus special priveledges...

Tanis: Stop trying to get this thread locked. I DO NOT WANT MY SPOONY KIGNDOM TO CEASE IN EXISTENCE BECAUSE ONE SINGLE SPOON MEASURING CUP IS COMPLAINING ABOUT IT BEING TO LONG.

Edit: You're not even a spoon Tanis. WTF.

I suspect the HP books were overly plot driven.  that is to say, the author place much more focus on having the plot play the way she wanted then having the characters remain IC.
