to be honest, my main worries is how well I can commit to this. I may being paranoid, but finding that I later fail to take part or flake out worries me.

as it may help give ideas, I'll throw out my current cosplay plans for 09(as a whole) as mentioned elsewhere on the forums.

Ragnarok Online: I believe most people know this one
Persona 3: I believe most people know this one
Sekirei: an ecchi harem series, that despite all the fanservice, is something that interests me
Tower of Druaga: Aegis of Uruk: brand new series from Gonzo(came out over the summer) that was put on streaming services like youtube. very funny and interesting plot though it can be a little "meh" at times.

there is a chance I may drop RO if I find myself with too many cosplays and I already wore my priestess at kumori 08

ignore the back breaking boobs. thats what I'm doing. I'm juggling between tsukiumi and homura, but I may just do both though. Homura would give me the chance to do this http://www.break.com/index/how-to-build-a-fireball-you-can-hold.html outside the con space ^_^. Tsukiumi would require some adjusts before I could crossplay her.

Not much is stopping me I suppose! The only obstacle is that I already have a bunch of cosplay I'm gonna do. You should stay with your mom for Mewcon, that's exactly what me and my little sister Shay are doing

we'll have to see how my budget goes which also likely prevent me joining in on any cosplays. its a wait and see on if I'm going(in cosplay) or not.

I can understand having too many cosplays. I'm running into that. only problem with my mother's place is she isn't that close(she lives near the vancouver mall) to the con and I don't want her knowing about me crossplaying at all.

That sounds like quite a predicament Seraph. Maybe sneak your crossplay in unsuspiciously large duffel bags, and if she asks you about it tell her that you're just holding it for a friend

I was talking to Natalie and I really think we should do Strawberry Panic. I was thinking about doing Shizuma, but now I want to do Nagisa x3 But yeah, Strawberry Panic cosplay would be amazing, and I could maybe get it done in time for Mewcon if I had enough notice.

I'm thinking something like that or maybe seeing if a friend at the hotel is willing to hold it for me. Presuming I decide to crossplay at the con.

So thats 2 votes for Strawberry Panic? I'll admit I'm somewhat bias in favor of seeing the series I mentioned(particularly, sekirei and tower of druaga since they're so new/unknown), but Strawberry Panic would be something I like to see and may even join in on.

Oooh we're all so unanimous! Now that our cosplay has essentially been decided I think that we should have a Strawberry Panic watching party, so everyone can get up to speed with it!

We should find a middle point and then meet there or something, or we could all crash at someone's house

I live in Oakland/Roseburg, OR.

on an added note, who is making their cosplays? I'm thinking that if its possible we could get together in a sort of a cosplay making party or something. if not, trade ideas and tips online then. I've always wanted to have an endless conversation about cosplay.

If I get enough money from my job I might buy mine. But Im not sure, Im hesitant about those because of the sizes etc.etc.
