Go Go GO Triple Post

I guess that they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. I was just awoken by lovely Marisa calling me about Sakuracon, where apparently someone is holding a Random Panel inspired by Kumoricon's one. Hehe, that made me smile.

Man, Sakuracon seems to have major gaps in programming, but I found the event. They even used the full name, which makes me think it is being ran by a first year attendee (as we didn't extensively use the Random Panel of Doom name in '07).

Here's what I got from the con book (had to lurk their forums to get it):

It was great, my friend's shoe got stolen and was missing for 3 hours until I found it!"

Come to think of it, I almost know exactly who is running this now.

Hahaha... the plague is spreading faster than I expected.

Apparently it went really well. Marisa (Sakura) and Jake (the Jew) helped out from what it hears and made it into a truly Random Panel.

From what Marisa's voice mail told me, they made a killing for Sakuracon's charity event through a game of Bigger or Better (about $400 from what I heard, which is a lot more than we made for charity at Kumoricon last year). Man, they deserve a hug from the Pope and me!

WOAH!! Are you serious? It's because they had their "Goddess" there... wasn't it? XD And yes... The Jew made it AWESOME!! I do find it rather odd though from that one that I was being asked where my Turk Cosplay was. >//>;; But yes, as I was there, the one up at Sakura was a true Random planel... AND NO SHOES WHERE LOST IN THE MAKING OF IT! **Bounus!**

I was somewhat apart of it at K-con '07. But I had to leave early to find my sister. The only reason I was in there in the first place was because I had to straighten Jew's hair, but it didn't really work and I got burned in the process. lol
But yeah, if anyone remembers the beginning I was the Orihime that left. X3

I deffinately want to be apart of it this year, fersure!

The Random Panel 三 will be held during the hours of 4PM and 7PM in Panel 1 on Sunday at the Con of Cloudy Weather. It is very important that you are there, as the Random Panel is purely communist in its methodology and therefore it relies on the people to support it. Ergo, you must attend. It is our goal to entertain, but if you do not attend we will have no one to do this for. You wouldn't want to let us down would you?

If there is any confusion as to who I am talking to, go look in a mirror. The answer will be staring back at you.

Anyhow, that big giant time you quoted was for last year as you can see by the date posted it was in 2007.

The third Random Panel for the 2008 Kumoricon will start at 4PM in Panel 1 on Sunday, August 31st, 2008

What was the final result of Bigger or Better and how much did it all go for in the auction?

The final result from Bigger or Better was a Faye Valentine figure and two t-shirts. These were added to the body of the Robo-Pope.

In total, the Random Panel's contributions went for $255 (all going towards charity).

That would definitely be the Robo-Pope.

And that is very odd... I swear I gave the Robo-Pope one of my fake candy cigs, but it would appear that he has a more realistic one in his mouth...
