Okay, I got this game from Sieg on Japankore.net....basically, you say something about the person who posted before you. THat's how it works. Have fun...and let's see what we all know about each other...or remember about each other from the con?

I think this game might be a little bit on the hard side. However I roomed with a girl who went as Heero and her sister was Duo. Was that you hikaru_maxwell? Sorry but I don't think I met Aurora(I knew a girl in High school with that name though.

beau is genuinely one of the nicest, most considerate people i've met, and virtually singlehandedly kept tunac alive last year and this year...tunac being the totally unnamed anime club at u of o, the precursor to alto nimbus, creators of kumoricon.

i'll cheat and jump up to hikaru and say her zeal is infectious and delightful and that i'm really looking forward to her help in getting fanfic theatre (cosplaying our fanfics) off the ground!

Rem, when do we find out what cosplayers are needed for the fanfic skits? If they're any characters I can do I'd be willing to help a bit.

Tom is wonderfully friendly to everyone he meets. Although I haven't met him in person, he's probably very glompable at anytime. XD

superjaz, i haven't "met" you per se, but all your posts seem to be very enthusiastic, and enthusiastic otaku are what really make a con fun!

re: fanfic theatre, not sure what order to go about it.
option (a): find out in what fandoms folks are writing their fics, then solicit cosplayers; and/or (b) find out in what fandoms there are cosplayers eager to participate, and then encourage folks to write fics for them!

suggestions welcome! (though, perhaps, logically, in a different thread or pms)

(okay game works that you talk about the -single- person who posted before you. like, what I just did....pointed at the post above me with a caret, and made a comment. you don't necessarily have to know the person. you can make a comment like "has no signature" or "is female" or "has a really cool avatar".....but it's really fun if you do know someone and talk to them on another thread or somethign.....then you can say "has five cats" because they mentioned it on the General thread, or "cosplays as...." because they do/did, or "plans to be....." because they mentioned in the "next year's cosplay" thread or somethign like that. wakarimasu ka?)

i now work 3pm to 9pm on thursdays, and work 6:30am-9pm fri and again 6:30 am sat...so i can't make any tunac nor kumoricon thurs meetings, and the one time i went to terry's, it was fabulous, but i was then late to work the following morning, and i just can't risk my job. sorry!

re: big guy: one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, purveyor of some of the better bear hugs in the universe, and my savior last kumoricon by giving me floor space when the person i only knew from the forums whose room i was going to share, changed her mind at the last minute.
