Does anyone know of any grocery store within reasonable walking distance of the con? My friends and I are trying to pack light and want to buy our groceries when we get in on Friday.
Maps? Anything?

The Safeway is really your best bet. and they're opened reasonably late.

OK! I've verified it.
The Friday Night Reg Desk is open from 6pm to 10pm.

This is a place for pre-registered people to pick up their lanyards and their swag bags (and their badges if they haven't gotten them in the mail). Staffers can do the same once they've gotten their badge from their director.

Remember, this is NOT "at door" registration. That starts the next morning. Probably at 8:00 am.

There's also a Dollar Tree on the other side of the mall. Great for those three liters and cheap snacks!!!!!

There is also a dollar store right near the safeway. Go there for your sugar buzz.

As I mentioned previously. But safeway is way too spendy. I would only go there for emergency stuff.

We've got 50$ for food set aside. We can buy some breads, meats, ramen. If my mom can keep my family fed on about 60$ a week, I can keep 6 girls (including myself) that don't eat a lot in the first place fed for a weekend. xD
We're not going to buy a lot of sugar. It's not really needed.
Although I hope to be able to pick up things like paper plates there. Although I'm pretty sure the hotel we're staying at has those. We'll find out when we check in.
