Kumoricon 2008 Tabletop Gaming Loan Thread
« on: August 08, 2008, 11:53:02 am »
Basically the same as our electronically based brethren, but with board games, card games, RPG, etc.  We would like to have a good selection of games available for check out during the Open Gaming hours, so if anyone out there has an awesome game they want to loan the con for the weekend, please post them here.

I have a bunch of v3.5 D&D books I can lend; I also have a Settlers of Catan TCG (the one with squares) set, a Settlers of Catan expansion set, and a 100-sided die you can use; I'll let my buddy Roy (he has been planning on getting on TTG staff for months; said he'd make the August 3rd meeting; I don't know if he did but I bet you would) get them there and checked in.

I have a nice size collection, from Power Grid to Munchkin. My only concern is damage to my precious cardboardery. What sort of protection will I get if someone breaks/steals my stuff?

All donations will be considered "at risk" donations, so K-Con can't be held liable for stolen/broken property; although we will be very understanding in the unlikely event that anything does happen.

As with electronic gaming, tabletop gaming will be implementing a checkout system that requires a valid ID and con badge (both of which we will keep until we get the gaming materials back), to ensure there is no stolen property.
