The Bakazoku documentary!
« on: October 14, 2004, 03:00:24 pm »
Hello all!  You are the first to get this announcement anywhere! The production has begun on the Bakazoku documentary.  The writing has been underway for quite some time and the cameras, I hope, will be rolling by this weekend.  I just wanted to ask if anyone from Kumori con would be interested in seeing this movie.  If so leave a comment!

Actually we do write a lot of our stuff before we perform.  There is a great behind the scenes look at one of our writing sessions in the movie.  All I can say is we are a little on the strange side at three am after four hours of video games and living on caffeine.  I like to think of what we do as lightly scripted comic munch!  Part of this complete breakfast!

It’s a little of both like you said.  The documentary is about how we got together and all the things that we have done.  Not to mention all the things that we find entertaining about conventions.  It also has a good amount of background on each member.  If there was ever anything you wanted to know about us it’s probably been put in there somewhere.  In all honesty it is really silly.  It’s everything we wanted to have in a movie about us.  The documentary is exactly what you would expect from the Bakazoku.

Such a naughtly mind you have there, Tom!  ;)

Think of right before their act during intermission at Kumori 2004.  I was supposed to start the Zoku act by going on stage and starting a cheer.  I had planned on doing one that was actaually in CardCaptor Sakura since that was how I was dressed, but right before I went on stage the crowd started with "Ba-ka Zo-ku Ba-ka-Zo-ku" so I just shrugged, thought, "why fight fate" and went with the Baka Zoku cheer instead of the plan.  I would think a cround spontaniously starting to cheer for you like that would have to be part of a dream....
