Oregonian Article
« on: October 11, 2004, 01:34:56 pm »
I never got to read the article that we got in The Oregonian, and unfortunately it's too late to read it in the online archives unless I subscribe.

Does anyone have a copy I could read?  If you live in Lane County, we could get it xeroxed, or if you live elsewhere I'd really appreciate a scan...

I thought I had a copy around here somewhere.
If I find if I'll get a crap-scan of the picture and copy down the text.
I know SEAN has a few dozen. ;)

Hey K-fans,

Radien:  You are not the only one.  I would also like to see the article.  Too bad Kumoricon is not big enough yet to be on TV.  When I was at Otakon 2002, I believe I saw a some people were there as part of the local news.  It was definately in the newspaper and the convention center was VERY crowded.

Tom the Fanboy:  Hey Tom, I want to thank you publicly for reading my Slayers Fan-Fic.

Hey K-fans,

BlackjackGabbiani:  Those sound like good arrangements nonetheless ;)

Only joking.

Hazard:  Sorry, but I gave my only copy to Rem, actually I gave all my original and only Fan-Fic copies to Rem.  I should have thought twice about keeping some for myself.  Eh, oh well :)

tim, contact me privately about this. i can only imagine they're still in my bag.

i should make clearer, for next year, that contest entries will not be returned.......i tend to beta hardcopy, rather than online, not only because it's easier to do, but also because i have a (thankfully mild) cataract. so, the submitted copy tends to have lots of marks all over it, and suggestions for rewriting sentences, and stuff, by the time i'm through with it.
