http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/10/08/dell_ac_adaptor_recall/Dell is recalling a TON of power adaptors that it shipped between 1998 and 2002. They, apparently, have the ability to make this all flamy and non-good.
I thought you dell laptop users, me amongst them, might REALLY want to know this. In the end, this is a good thing for me, as I needed a new adaptor anyway (mine is getting all tangled), but still, the idea of my bedroom bursting into flame is something I wish Dell had beta tested before shipping. >.<
