Plenty of people have the website experience, I get the feeling you might run into Bandwidth issues with so many people downloading the song!

I'd like to see one of the good AMVers make a Music Video for you (Hello, Derrek?) and then it could be posted on one of the AMV sites!  Now that would be cool.

I could definitely help you whip up a simple but attractive website, just so long as you find a place to host it. I believe putting your filk up for download is perfectly legal, seeing as it's a parody. Naboo, I'm not sure it'd get enough traffic to strain a server... but FilkAeris would know that better than I would.

I think there would be little "blips" of hits that could put someone over their limit for the month here and there (like right after a con) and then it would be OK most of the time.

You can buy the DVD from Obsessed with Anime .com and then pare it down to JUST your performance, and THEN get a FilkAeris account on animemusicvideos.com and put it up THERE!

There's a good method for you! And you don't have to build a website until later!

You should just get a host w/unlimited bandwidth, then no worries :) I got one w/unlimited everything for $55/year... I'm sure there's better deals than that even, but it's been working pretty good for me. I would offer my development expertise, but I'm swamped w/school, and I'm trying to learn a few new things, so I wouldn't be happy w/anything I'd make now hehe...

Wow.  How do you do that?  I have the Sakuracon 2003 DVD, but I don't know how to rip sequences...

Actually, I got permission from my Admins (at another forum...) to upload and show off your MP3's, (if I can ever get ahold of them myself).  I'd definitely direct them to you, or any site you put up......

(Exposure to Otaku and Japanese entertainment enthusiasts is good, na?)

And I think, if I could rip the sequences, he'd let me upload the Video sequences, too.....It's a thought.

Hrmm...Is that Sakura Con dvd just a regular DVD? (stupid question but I'm making sure ^^) If so I could probably e-mail you a how-to on ripping the dvd onto your compy and most likely how to get whatever sequence you want as well... Gimme the word and I'll type one up and send her on ova ^_^
