Sims 2 help

I just got Sims 2, and I was messing around with Body Shop when I realized that I had no idea how to use Body Shop to alter skins and/or clothing.

Does anyone know how?  All the people at Maxis will say is that I should use Photoshop, which isn't a lot of help when I don't know how to use photoshop to alter the needed files.

And yes, I promise to link to all anime skins I end up making. ^.^

And don't try their BBS, it's horrifyingly unimformative. >.<

I got that one too. I wanted to make a Shiva aeon lady from FFX. Although I haven't played much, I wonder if I can get a pet horse???

Sims 2 doesn't have pets yet, officially or otherwise.  I did have a pet Kuro Neko Sama in Sims 1 though. ^.^
