MUCC and D'espairs Ray in Seattle, WA... anyone going?
« on: March 13, 2008, 08:18:51 pm »
MUCC (very awesome J-Rock band) will be on the Taste of Chaos, Wamu April 15th.
Are there any Portlanders who will be going to the concert and is there any way that
I might be able to bum a ride with to Seattle? I can pay for my own show ticket.

(or maybe I'll get lucky and they'll add a Portland date before that time, lol)

I'd love to see that band, but unless they come a little closer, I doubt I'd actually be able to. Aw shoot, oh well...

My friend is going.. I told him to pick me up a t-shirt or something. (He recently saw Maximum the Hormone and picked me up a really awesome t-shirt.)

It's possible I could make it.. I don't really know!

Wow this looks neat, I might want to go, problem is, I really have NO interest in the the other groups.  I only want to see the J-rock groups. :C

I had no interest in seeing Deftones or The Fall of Troy,
but I still went for Dir en grey when they came to the
Roseland Theatre back in July, and promptly left after
Diru's set had ended as did most of the people there.
I hear for ToC they are having the J-Rock bands first
because they want to "get it over with faster" before
they bring out the "popular" bands (ie: the emo crap).

how much were the tickets though? I just can't imagine paying that much for a show, plus paying for parking, and then leaving after the first set

I'll be going tomorrow, as the show looks to be fun. My buddy bought tickets in advance, so I don't know if tickets are still available.

To anyone going to the ToC concert in WA:

If someone could pass this venue info to
MUCC durring the CD signing, it would be
very much appreciated by not just me, but
by all J-Rock fans here in Portland, Oregon.
Perhaps it can be written on a slip of paper?

ROSE GARDEN ARENA -- Phone#: 503.235.8771
One Center Court, Suite 150, Portland, OR 97227
--------------------------------------------------
ROSELAND THEATRE -- Phone#: 503.224.2038
8 NW 6th Avenue Portland, OR 97209

I would've killed to hear Gentou Sanka live,
but sadly I could not make it up to Seattle.
