Don't worry, I make most of mine from mix too.

Sometimes I make them from scratch, but it requires so much effort (sometimes the dough needs to be fridged overnight)...bleh.

Yeah I agree...baking cookies from scratch do take a lot of effort....to be honest with you, I don't think I've ever baked cookies from mixes..except when I was younger with those darn Tollhouse cookies XD

Trust me, they're amazing. Just drop by New Seasons Market and look for vegan cookies by "Alternative Baking Company" they are THE BEST. I'm not a big chocolate chip fan so I'd suggest pumpkin spice or their cookie of the season (it had like walnuts and cranberries and stuff) but I think they've shifted to another flavor D: It's the only kind of cookies I buy now

Sounds delicious. The only vegan cookies I have ever had are Carob Chunk Cookies, and they tasted waaay better than any other cookie I've had, so I am down with the vegs, yo.

Yeah, kahlan-gf had to make vegan cake once for a family friend (because the friend's son is allergic to a plethora of things, including eggs), and so gf made a cake with applesauce as a substitute to eggs. It actually works, interestingly.

My sister made some like that once, it was from this huge box of cookie mixes. The recipe said one teaspoon of dough would make one cookie, but forget that! My sis put I don't know how much dough into each cookie, but they were massive and chunky and delicious.
