Well my right hand is kind of chewed up. You see I'm planning on doing some staff work at Kumoricon as part of the demonstration and well the only place I can do it is outside on the pavement. End result I chewed up my hand proverbially spaking real good. Fortunately some antibiotic cream took care of the wounds but I have to keep practticing to get my form right. The mantra is Practice, Practice, Practice!

I just want to say that this community is really amazing, and I'm so glad I started going to conventions because I've met some really amazing people because of it, and I truly consider all my TD Bro's to be some of my dearest friends.

Also remember that even though some people might give you a hard time about cons and cosplay, that at the end of the day life is really about doing what makes you happy.... yeah things get tough, but it's up to you to keep trying to do the best you can and no one can really expect more from you. Also take the time to appreciate the people around you because it's surprising how quickly things can change.... that's really all I have to say right now, tonight has been a weird night, so I think I'm just going to crawl back into my pile of blankets and ponder things.

I used to be awful about that, there are so many times I'll see people and be afraid that they might not recognize me.... I've learned that everyone is pretty chill about stuff like that though, so it's worth saying hi. If anyone see's me at con feel free to chat, I really do like talking to people even if everyone says I look mad all the time. XD

I feel really ashamed at how selfish I've been to think that I was the only one with this problem, and that everyone else was perfectly acquainted with one another.

In my case, I thought everyone knew all about my flaws, and I didn't know a thing about them except their forum name and maybe their face. Sometimes I even had mixed feelings about what to do. Too afraid to kid around and say something wrong, but also too stubborn to just give up and walk away. I know some forum peeps are pushing 30 or 50, but to me 23 (soon to be 24) still feels old and busted sometimes.

In other news...
It is my 16th Birthday.
That's all.

So this is from Dueling Analogs, a webcomic I read from time to time.
I just thought it was funny. XP (PS, I'm not saying anything against larger people cosplaying skinny people. I just saw it and it gave me a laugh cause of what it says for Luigi. I thought some of you might enjoy the humor as well)

I've been nonstop crying for a while now...I just can't help it.
My $100 pay check was thrown away with the trash (that has already been picked up) just because it was in a bag full of papers. All important things that had meaning to me from the play I just did. I can't contact anyone until Monday to get a new check cut and all those important mementos are now gone. Thank you letters and everything...just gone. Why can't people actually look into a bag to see what is really in it before they toss it?
I just can't stop crying because of it. I'll never get any of it back. I'm not worried about the money (even though it was a third of my hotel money that I was counting on) because I can probably get it again unless some hobo finds it in a landfill over the weekend and somehow gets it cashed. And they might make me wait for it to not go through (Which can be up to 90 days and too late for con). But all those things that were given to me...I know I've said it again and again but I just... Why do people have to be so inconsiderate? If it's not yours, don't just throw it away.

I'm really sorry. I know how it is to have important things like that thrown away by others. :(

I don't know why people can't follow the rule, if it's not yous don't touch it. :/

It's days like today.

Got into work early and had breakfast with my Korean parents (my Boss and his wife). They made me a huge iced Coffee and then we all sat around eating freshly grilled chicken and rice while listening to Ludacris on the radio. It's days like these that I absolutely love my job.

Hey evryone, listen over in the Genral Kumoricon thread the leader of my group that's doing the Taekwondo demonstration this year at Kumoricon has set up a thread. We're looking for some ideas (within the standards of safety and liability.) for this year's demonstartion to make it even better and we could use your help. If you have any ideas head over to the thread and let us know.

Believe me folks in this sucky economy it's REALLY hard to find a job. And all the jobs that are available are usually not very well paying. These next few years are going to be hard ones. But try and keep your chin in spite of it all.

This happened earlier today . . .

Brother: I wonder why they call it COTTAGE cheese.

Me: Because the guy that designed it lived in a cottage.

Brother: .. DESIGNED it?

Me: Yes.  He made the bleu cheese prints.

They are kind of magical. I've seen it...I think twice? And I'm sure I will many more times once it's out on DVD, because holy hell do I love that movie. Even if January Jones butchered one of my favorite fictional characters and the timelines were aaaaall screwy and apparently the writers didn't understand the concept of Darwin's power is that he cannot die, McFassy made it all better. Though I loved everyone else, too, especially unexpected!Nicholas Hoult and wee Banshee.

I'm so mad that they only put the special features on the BluRay DVDs because I WANT TO SEE ERIK IN DRAG! D:< seriously, that is a deleted scene and i am so excite to see it. thank god my best friend and fellow mcfassy enthusiast has a bluray player XDDD

Bahaha, what madness is this?! I hadn't heard of this. Have to look it upon YouTube sometime. XD I'm sure it'll be up there before long.
