We watched Birth of A Nation in my Classic Film class about a month ago. What'd you think of it? I thought it was a pretty rich example of racist propoganda, but I didn't really enjoy it to begin with, so maybe I'm biased.

I rented "Birth of a Nation" when I was in grad school. It's a fascinating watch, if you've got the stomach for it.

They found it buried under the sand in the Mojave desert, after a storm uncovered parts of it.
