this sunday? wow that kinda bites as it is the same day as the meeting and a wedding i am going to which is why i am missing the meeting

Since the general meeting starts at 1pm, you could very well go to the comic book show before that if you wanted. Just throwin' it out there. _{Don't hurt me.}

1pm in Salem. Not 1pm in Portland. There is the issue of driving down to Salem (which IIRC takes a good hour, and google maps agrees). I'm not even sure if I'll be able to make it to the meeting or not... since I've got several minor health issues and nightshift ending in the morning weighing against me. I've already determined I'm unsafe to drive to it... but maybe if I carpool and catnap...

Can't drive, though, so there's no way for me to make it to Salem on my own. Ergo, that's why I stick with the local meetings.

My friend and I are so going. We're planning on cosplaying too. She's going as Aeris, and I'll be there as Matt. Hope to see some of you there! =3

Awesome! I'll see you there then. I'll bring a camera too.

Sadly, both my costumes are broken (a seam broke in one, and I snagged the other one's coat and wound up ripping a button right out), but I'll be wearing something recognizable.

Things didn't go quite as planned. >< Aeris isn't able to go, but I'll still be there with another one of my friends. I won't be cosplaying (too nervous to do it alone), but I'll wear my L shirt.

I honestly wasn't really impressed by it. I'm not into comic books or Star Wars.. so there wasn't much for me there. They shouldn't have advertised anime, since I barely saw any. >< I was kinda disappointed, I would have rather gone to Saturday market. ;^;

yeah...I was expecting a little more, but it was an interesting experience. I bought this awesome tee.
I didn't stay long, I did go to Saturday Market afterward...

I got a few presents for people, but the one thing I was looking for--Dork Tower volume 5--escaped my grasp. Alas!

But I did get to meet some people.

They liked my coat.
