I will post rules and info for next year's chess event here on the forums so people will know what to expect. After that, probably May or June, I will post the registration forms so people can sign up for the event.
Here are the basics, tho -
1) You need to send a picture of your completed cosplay in with your registration... I let this requirement slide last year, because the info went up late, but I'm going to be enforcing it more this next year. I will only accept sign-ups for complete cosplays, so get started
2) While this is not a cosplay contest (you aren't judged on your cosplay), your cosplay is important - we need recognizable characters, and the better your cosplay, the better chance you have of being picked as a piece.
3) Since we are looking for specific cosplays (complete, recognizable) this is event is
not first-come, first-serve. There were some questions regarding that issue last year, so I will stress it again -just because you signed up first, you are not guaranteed a place. I will do my best to ensure that everybody who wants to gets a chance to participate, but we are restricted by time and space available, and sometimes it just doesn't work out.
Now, this isn't to try to scare anyone from wanting to participate, I just want you to know what to expect. Last year's event was a blast, and I'm glad everyone had fun. I'm looking forward to next year, and I can't wait to see what cosplayers we have
If you have any more questions, let me know
