Deadlines

I was wondering about deadlines for fanfic contests.  I am working on a story for the novella category, and depending on how much time I have left, I may work on some stuff for the other ones.

Well, we have some new people taking on the Art and Fan Fic coordinator roles this year. But we are trying to get stuff ready and together.

I know that we are going to make the deadlines for novella fics earlier than they have been in the past, maybe two/ three weeks before con. But don't trust me on that yet.

I will ask Sandi if she has a final date yet, or if she's still working on it!

See, that's where I am confused.  I was under the impression that last year's cut off time was in May or so.  (I don't remember exactly when).  Since I was going through some personal crap at the time, & my misunderstanding on the deadline, I didn't get to put in as much effort into my piece as I was wanting.  I am hoping that there will be no misunderstanding this time, & I can do my best with this novel.
