THE CON'S OVER!!!! T.T
Now what??!!!

School?
Other conventions?

I'm trying to get money for a VIP pass for Kcon08 (paycheck comes the 17th so we'll see) so no other cons for me. I'm already working on my cosplay for Kcon08, got 4 pieces done. What does everyone else do in real life once a con is over?? There's already videos on youtube!! Mine will be up this or next weekend, depending on how school goes.

Anyone got pics or anything, weird stories from the convention?
What people buy? I spent ALL my money on Manga, a Lina Inverse plushie and Utena season 1.
Anyone go to the fangirl pannel and see the magical kisses? xD

Me too. I deal with the end of Kumoricon via much time spent crying and sighing in deep depression. Should wear off by the time I post this though.

Yeah, I was both ready and not ready for Kumoricon to end.
Was it just me, or did it come and leave really fast this year.
I don't know if it's just cause I'm use to cons now but it didn't feel like it was three days, just seemed like one long one, and I even came up a day early this year.... O.O
I wish I could go to Sakuracon, but no money no ride, maybe in 2009 or 2010. God thats creepy, I'll be 20 in 2010... *shakes head* ok enough of that!! I'm gonna make it to Yaoi con first though

Yep me school on wed too! Senior Year hurray!! I already started watching youtube vids, not much yet. I got to get through all my manga and anime I bought, lol.

I'm SLEEPING IN tomorrow.
I'm gonna get up at noon to go get my class schedule, they didn't have them at registration and I don't wanna wait for them the first day, so I'll show up during the freshman's first day. Then me go buy some pants for school, mine all died at Kumoricon, ripped ect. xD They were 3 years old anyway, about time I get new ones.... O.o

I was so sad leaving the con, I got last minute con pictures though!

one of the guys who had the table with all the free stuff gave me their giant Dark Horse board XD
and I got two 10 dollar poster things (I guess they're not really posters, but I don't know what to call them) for only 5. *_*

Blech.. school tomorrow. I really don't like where I live. The people are even worse.

I'm seriously contemplating buying a Chi costume so I can cosplay for the first time at next year's con. Or to scare some trick or treaters in a couple months. >_>;

Last year when 8th graders coming in as freshman this year (or tomorrow their first day) came to check out school we set up our anime club booth, 25 SCREAMING fan girls came over to us.... O.O and I know it was 25 cause we had them all sign their names. Should be interesting keeping them in line... *is vice pres this year* and I have a pretty big group of friends who all love anime so normal people shouldn't be a bother so much, LOL. So if everyone sticks to coming we should have a good 45 people in anime club. About half the club goes to Kumoricon so hopefully that will lengthen the hype of kcon07 for us xD

I wish I had friends in high school like the people I meet at kumoricon.

I think I have a tendency to want to hang out/stay in contact with every single person I talk to that likes anime. Where I live, very few people like anime.

It took a great few years to our anime club as good as it is now. It's first year was run by people who watched nothing but DBZ, Pokemon and Yugioh ect... I was like in 5th grade then... then it got a little better and they watched only 3 eps of differnt animes, by my freshman year, we started watching whole series. And now, since my Sophomore year, we have very specific anime club rules when it comes to what we watch. We try to get one from differnt genres, horror, shoujo, shonen, romance, meka, ect. And it cant be anything like InuYasha or something of that sort on TV, we wanna see new animes most no ones seen to expose them to differnt kinds. And the series can't be longer then the average 26, sometimes we make acceptions if we watch shorter animes like Haruhi Suzumiya. We also have to make sure we state in parent permission forms there is nudity, cursing, sexual humor ect, but that while there may be that we dont watch porn!! You can try starting one!!!! We lucked out, our advisor or teacher supervisor, is an anime-gamer lover himself
