Kumoricon is proud to announce it's first-ever Legend of the Five Rings CCG Tournament!
When: Saturday, September 1st, 3:00 PM
Entry costs: Con Pass, either weekend or day
Prizes: Box tournament! There will be at least one booster for everyone that enters, with more for the winners and placers!
Format: Samurai Edition Legal cards, 40/40. No proxies are allowed! Sleeves are allowed, but if yours are too reflective you may be asked to remove them.
Style: This will be a Swiss style tournament with random pairings. Stats will be recorded by the Portland L5R League and posted on their website,
www.portlandl5r.com and sent to AEG for standings.
Vendor Support: All prizes are being supplied by Gamer's Guild, out of Gresham. They will be available with singles and some limited product for purchase in the tournament area.
We are also going to give a prize to best dressed, if you come in costume! Yay!
We are also trying to get a demo going for the game on Sunday of the con, if you'd like to come and learn how to play. The tournament is pre-constructed decks only, so you will not be able to play unless you have a deck prepared and ready. Visit the Portland L5R website for information on play days and what stores if you would like to learn how to play before the con tournament.
