...you run up to random people who look like anime characters and take pictures with them (because you swear he looks just like Cloud! really!)

...you yell "TADAIMA!" when you come home, even when no one is there. (guilty as charged)

...you say "o-yasumi nasai" to your plushies every night before you go to bed.

...you want to scream when people pronounce "Ryu" like "Ree-Yao". (personal experience...*nod nod*)

...you consider instant ramen and pocky a healthy staple for everyday life.

...you paint little red ovals under your friend's eyes because you insist it makes them look kawaii.

...you dye your hair according to your favorite anime character's.

...you browse through cosplay pictures on the internet just for the hell of it (which is what i'm currently doing...lol)

-You draw fan art and anime styled doodles in your sketch book, notebook, homework, yourself if you have no paper...

-You use anime quotes and giggle when your friends/family don't get it.

-You use anime quotes and laugh hysterically when your friends/family DO get it.

-Your basic diet consists of Pocky, Ramune and Ramen...and on rare occassions..Sushi!

-You dream of going to or visiting Japan.

-All your stories of vacations start with: "When I was at _____-con..."

-You would run back into your burning house to save your anime collectables.

-You first meet a possible boyfriend/girlfriend you ask them what their favorite anime/manga is. Hey, if they aren't a fan, they aren't worth the time.

-At any time, there is something related to anime on you/near you.

-You have a mini heart attack when someone says: "Anime is just for kids, it's just cartoons!"

-You have pets (or children) named after anime characters.

-You've seriously thought about getting or have an anime related tattoo.

-You aren't offended by being called an otaku, you wear it like a badge of honor.

All the study abroad students over here have gotten into the habit of slipping Japanese words into our sentences.
"That's very chigau." (meaning "wrong")

... you instantly correct someone when they mispronounce "manga" or "anime."

... seeing a cosplayer walking down the street doesn't seem odd to you in the least sense.

... you start a science experiment to create a full-fledged cat boy or girl.
