Well, part of my problem is solved
« on: August 29, 2004, 12:45:24 am »
I have a hotel room again, which is good. I have a roommate who is willing to foot the entire bill for me as long as I pay him back later, so that's good. I do have one problem, though, and it involves keeping my belly happy.

You see, financially the timing of this convention stinks for me. It came just after one ste of benefits ends and before another set of benefits ends. I can pay for my apartment -- and that's it. That i have a friend willing to put me up in the hotel is great, but I'm wondering what I'm going to do to keep myself fed.

if i had brown bags I'd be living on PB&J sandwiches. I make a mean PB&J sandwich if I do say so myself. Maybe I should just bring a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly. Not the lealthiest diet, but cheap....

Due to my religion i cannot drink coffee or tea. but soda isn;t a problem -- except will I be able to afford enough soda to get through the con? And how the heck would I keep a 12-pack of Pepsi One COLD?

Pepsi One? do they still make that stuff?
wow... i thought it was discontinued... odd... i suggest using Ice... get a big thing of ice (meaning fill a bowl with water and stick it in the freezer then break it up some how) then useing whatever container necessary... put the ice on the pepsi...
or
the rooms might have friges... but i dont know, ive heard that they might...
