I've been working on my apron/overskirt thing for a few hours...and I almost gave up. =___= One of the last steps was killing me. So I had to ask my mom for help. ;; So many needle pricks...

Spiffy I have been sewing during my breaks at work! I tried at my desk and my boss said I shouldn't be sewing in the main part of the library cause the patrons would complain.

Sometimes I wonder why wigs hate me...=__= ~
I bought one from Halloween Warehouse - it looked alright judging by the picture...but I looked hideous with it on, lol. One side is longer than the other. O_o; I have to do some major fixing...

I just decided: I'm going to do Lum's school uniform. The winter version. I already have the skirt and the fabric and pattern for the top, I just have to put it together. Fuku are pretty simple so I should be able to handle it. I think I even have sneakers that work for her...let's say that one's at 65% done. (I'm coming with a school-uniform Ataru, too!)

So I'm going to have 4 cosplays. And I'm only going to be there Saturday afternoon and Sunday. But it'll be so cool if I can pull it off! Old school cosplay is awesome.

I'M ALMOST DONE!!!

Bridget- Habit needs to be hemmed on the bottom
Shoe's need to be made
Rena- Square needs to be sewn on shirt that has the hirigana on it
Flip flops need to be bought D: ::{if anyone knows were to get brown or black flip flops right now please tell me >.<}::

My friend though just called and was like "Yeah I started my Baiken costume like just now, and I need a claw and a sword" Luckily I have a sword that can just be spray painted but I'll probably work on the claw all night D: Wish me luck!

I've tried fred myers but no luck, living in a tiny town with only two stores that sell clothing sucks D: Old Navy and Rite aid are a good idea! I'll have to go to Bend try there. Thanks for the opinions~

If that was about mine, I keep them on ice. They keep better that way and won't spontaneous combust. found that out the hard way, cleaning the fridge took me hours

I got my green wig for my Rapid 99 cosplay yesterday. However, I'm in the process of parting it for pigtails and adding in extensions so it doesn't look like crap. It sucks, it takes forever, and I'm sick of it.

Yeah, it takes forever and is hellishly boring and painful if you burn yourself.

However, I am completely finished with my Sailor Uranus, Jedi, RO Alchemist, Hermione Granger, Nymphadora Tonks, and Gothic Lolita costumes, so I'm close to being finished with stuff

Oh man, so much to do and so many costume changes! *SIGH*

I'm excited to see everyone's pretty costumes!!!!

Okaaay, so last minute I decided to make another cosplay, and refine another from last year. Soooo...

Itsuki Koizumi: Jacket almost finished, need to add buttons, pockets, and "M" on breast pocket. I have everything else.

Ritsuka Aoyagi: Cut wig and sew ears into it, and make the tail. (have the clothes already, whoot!)

Irvine Kinneas (casual version): My vest isn't exactly con-ready, and neither are the chaps. So I'm doing a more casual Irvine Kinneas. I've fixed up the jacket and untangled the wig. Now I just need to find a nice purple shirt to wear instead of the vest. (I figured sticking to his shirt color was a good idea).

dakrum, I can't wait to see you wearing the mask! It's definatly my favorite cosplay of Ichigo, so it'll be fun to see. =D Hm, I wonder, since it only covers half of your face, do the mask rules apply? =/

Okay... less then a week until kumoricon and i still have alot to do. ^_^'
I'm cosplaying Shizuru Fujino from Mai HiME, and so far i've had a pretty bad week. Preporation wish, its been alright, i'm just afraid i'll end up injuring myself right before the con. I got my hair done... again, and as i was walking up a flight of stairs, i tripped and broke my toenails, and caused my toes to bleed.-_-'
then today, i got my legs waxed, got sick as a dog and had to skip out on con shopping. i'm afraid of what will happen next. T_T
As for the costume and accessories, i have the socks, the long sleeved blouse, the skirt needs to be sown together, the blazer still needs to be constructed, and my feet are blistered from braking in the loafers. oh yeah, and the red tie still needs to be made.
I'm still constructing her Naginata. I just got finished spray painting it, and theres still alot to do.
Okay, well. wish me luck i guess. ^_^

I decided a day ago to cosplay Luneth from FF III (the DS version), and I'm fairly surprised to have all the pieces I need already. I just need to modify a few things, namely the vest, which is actually a jacket I am turning into the vest...but at least it will be passable (I hope ^__^;

. I'm also hoping to find a pair of brown gloves tomorrow rather than the black pair I got today. (Anyone have any ideas as to where to find any? I live in Tigard, which is right next to Portland. I'm going to Goodwill tomorrow I hope, in order to see if they have a pair.)

I bleached my hair with the help of a friend today, and I need to get sliver hair spray and play with my hair for a while to try and experiment and figure out what works best.

Honestly this is one of the easiest costumes I've ever put together...considering that I happened to have about half the costume already.

Oooh goodluck! FF 3 so hard because you can't bloody save in the bloody dungens... *still hasn't beaten the boss yet* I can't wait to see it...um I'd try maybe a Value village for gloves. There should be one near the clackamas mall...

Im mid nervous breakdown right now. Im currently letting the straps for my holster dry, and im high from spray paint. Giggly+nervous= a total Whooaaaaaa moment. Or two.
