When does the Con open?

I've been looking on the site to where the time was to when the con's doors opened, and I can't find it. So is it like Sept 4th at like 9:00am the con will let you register on the spot and let you go in?

This is my first time going to a con so I don't know much.

Er, and one more thing I forgot to ask; Do I need to get a hotel room to be able to go to the con? Cause I don't live very far from the con.

Doors open at roughly 8:00 AM Saturday, September 4 for registration and badge pickup, and Opening Ceremonies start at 10:00 AM on said Saturday.  And no, a hotel room is not required to be a con attendee, though it makes the hotel like us more.  =^~.~^=
