I'm going to sakura con, and it's in 7 days and i'm all spazzy XD.

I had to buy my cosplay for it this year, (it's my second convention btw) for kurmoricon 06 I made my own Hinata cosplay.

Is anyone going?? Because I'm afraid it's going to be uncomfortable because there is going to be like 9000 people. Kumoricon has like less and it's alot more comfortable, and it's in a hotel.

Sakura con is in a convention center. ;.; :?

You'll be fine! There's plenty of people from Kumoricon on staff and in attendance so you're bound to see some familiar faces. It can be overwhelming but just concentrate on what you want to do and focus on getting there.

In 2003 I went to the San Diego Comic-con by myself via bus. I'd never traveled alone before and it was more than a week on the road. However I had a blast and even though I had never met anybody there in real life I managed to find people that I knew online and even made some new friends.

I'm sure that you'll be able to do the same.

Edit: If you want to make absolutely sure to meet people, how about this?

It'll be my first time there. I figured, "Hey, I've been meaning to go to Sakuracon for years but never had the chance before."

It's going to be my 2nd year at Sakura-con and I will tell you, it is a lot different, but in a good way. It'll be more fast paced, as there is a lot more to do and a lot more crowded, but it is still a good time. If you want you can hang out with my girlfriend and I (it's her first Sakura-con and first big convention)

maybe we can meet for a while, i'm going with a few people but it's all our first time at Sakura Con, and two of my friends its there first convention.

Trust us, ti's still a looooong way from a real conventions center like Sak is at. It's the convention center for Vancouver, Washington after all. It's not gigantice but they didn't skimp on making it look nice and feel professional.

Oh yes, the whole place is carpeted except the hotel lobby, which is marbley. The exhibitor are will look a lot like the expo center though, since it is actually the garage downstairs (we'll all be parking across the street).

lol I am going to SakuraCon as Tsunade-Sama and some other random nin.. heh It's gonna be alot of fun... I am sorta traveling by myself.. I will be taking the train from the Eugene amtrak station up to the one in seattle. Its gonna be a long trip but well worth it. This means this week I gotta dig out all my kcon supplies so that I am good to go for Sakuracon. On a good note though I have around oh say 500 dollars in spending money because I have been a good little girl and saved a good portion of my money. Either way I hope to see you all up there. I think I am still going to be volunteering at our booth... someone needs to get back to me about that....

The only thing about Sakuracon I look forward to is that once its over all the focus settles more on Kumoricon ^_^

My friend whos going is going to bring a cosplay pic of me on a pop sickle stick and have people take pics with it, so I guess in a way I am going, lol.

Naw, it's okay. It's actually good that I did. It's probably not going to be that big a deal, but I went to maps.com, & they showed Uwajimaya as being at about 5th & James, rather than 5th & Weller. Oh well, it may have been the technique I used. I set it to go from my house, rather than from the convention center.

I'm not going this year... Even though I planned on going -_- That either means life likes to screw with me, or I need to start taking charge in my life to make sure I can go to things like this. Of course, it doesn't help I have an unhealthy fear of traveling.

To anyone who's going to Sakura-Con, I'd like to make a special request since there's a web comic artist that's going to be there that happens to be the creator of my favorite web comic by far. If you're willing to help me with this, feel free to send me a PM, it's nothing serious that deals with cash or anything, just a simple task that my girlfriend and I would GREATLY appreciate if it could be done.

This is my second con aside from sakuracon, so I'm all spazzy too >_<

I have everything planned out in terms of panels, and I already have some spotlight things to look for in the Artist alley and dealers room. I have a list a mile long of people to meet x.x, and now I'm making final revisions to my checklist of what to bring.
