I'm really hoping I can have a giant get together at Enchanted Forest this summer for Pocky Club so I've been looking at places south of Portland to meet at.

We should all definitely go to OMSI this summer. They're gonna have the Body Worlds 3 exhibit, opening June 7th. I've been wanting to see one of those exhibits for so long. It might be kinda spendy but perhaps we can get in as a group? That shouldn't be a problem.

Oh yay, now I'm super excited!! I was going to this no matter what, but it'll be fun in a big group. We must also visit the planetarium, because they're awesome.

I don't think they're real models or whatever. The guy makes casts of people I think. Don't quote me on that though.

I'd rather go in the planetarium than the subamarine though.

Who is going to bring the sack lunches? The cafeteria is way too spendy. Who owns a cooler big enough to store sandwichy stuff in?

there is a bathing suit car wash in Eugene and there have been several wrecks on that corner but no glasses so I have not bothered to drive by

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always understood nerd/geek etc. as a personal identity based on one's ideas and predilictions, not as a set of physical characteristics. Those characteristics, as described above seem mostly anathema to a healthy active lifestyle, and that's rather unfortunate.

I don't know if I'll be able to do any events now, because my parents are going to make me work, and since I don't have a job yet I don't know my schedule. I'm planning on just being lame this summer, so I might be out of commission for a while.
