There will be a special event at Kumoricon this year - an AEG Sanctioned L5R Tournament!
It will likely be the Saturday of the con, and will be Samurai Edition legal. If you're interested in this, feel free to post in this thread!
Legend of the Five Rings is a CCG that has been around about as long as Magic. The setting is feudal Japan - you are the Daimyo of your clan, fighting for the top spot among all the other clans in the name of honor, glory in battle, or attaining true Enlightenment. Strategize tactical military battle, find yourself in a duel to the death with an evil foe, pull your strings in court with dirty politics, or use the five elements to summon dragons to fight for your clan, your honor, and your victory!
If you'd like to learn how to play the game, we can help you! There is a playgroup in Gresham on both Tuesdays and Fridays, at Game Geex and Gamers Guild, respectively. Play starts around 6:00 pm both days, we are currently playing in the Lotus environment, as Samurai is scheduled to launch this summer. There will be lots of fun to be had and fabulous prizes, so keep watch!
