I was wondering, since I am 17 now, but will be 18 at Kumoricon, would I be able to preregister as an adult?

I believe so. I think I remember reading that even at age 17, one can attend on their own, and only need some form or paper showing parent approval or something like that. I'm not positive, but I think you can register as an adult.

As long as you are going to be 18 by the time of the Con, you are going to be registered as an adult. Just give them proof of your age now and then, and you'll be allowed. I think it works like that. My sister registered me, and I had to email them my birthday to tell them that I'd be 18.

We've had this happen a lot in the past so we are used to it by now.
