I'm terrible. I waited so long for it to come out, that by the time it came out, I was too caught up in other things to stop and drop ten whole dollars on it. Sad. But I very much need to go get it. I did love the first one so.

I read it yesterday!  And I loved it!
I can't believe I was second thinking buying it.  I was so naive (27 hours ago) back then!

It is a manga issued through TokyoPop by the manga-ka Svetlana Chemakova. With only two volumes currently released, it is about a girl flung headfirst into the world of anime cons. The first volume documents her first year, and the friends she makes, and the second volume (though I have not yet read it) I assume documents her return to the con the following year, to quite the unwelcome change involving said friend she made the prior year.

It's justr a really great series thus far, showing great potential. I loved it because I read it just months before my first year of Kumoricon, so I had a lot of anticipation for what was to come. And now, looking back after having been through my first convention, it really relates. Dramacon is a really fun manga, complete with humor as well as some pretty serious moments as well.

It's good stuff. ^_^

Just got it for my birthday today, and just finished reading through it. Yeah, in that hour and a half or so of straight reading through, I ran through a bunch of emotions and feelings. I'm already jonesin for the next volume, but must wait for a loooong time, I figure.

I love Dramacon!

Actually, I just saw something about in one of my new mangas (I don't remember which one, all five of them are at home).  It didn't sound too bad based on that page.

Okay, I own two non-japanese/non-korea manga titles (I prefer story-line over art anyday and most japanese has that), and Dramacon is one of them. I usually don't give american/non-asian manga a second glance but this is a really great series, and I really reccomend it. There's so much drama that goes on at cons as it is, it's funny to relate to the book... In one scene she says something about a man in a school girl costume and I thought of Tom in the '05 cosplay conpetition as School Girl Mario. :D

I would reccomend it.
