i wanna hear what everyone's favorite kon memory was. mine was winning the halo 2 tourney.

Oh boy, so many to choose from. Hmm... The cosplay and skit compitition. Our group one "best in show" and the NOTN won "Best Skit" and ALOT of cosplay awards! I think 3 or 4!

It was awesome! We were all dragged up on stage.

I have Several:

Hanging out with Lucas, Tania and Dorothy Sunday (or was it Saturday night?) night in the downstairs hang out.. place with all the couches and being totaly dorky. Accidentaly spilling Cheddar Chex Mix all over the floor... and then pushing it under one of the chairs. xD;; Going into the bathroom and running our hands over the motion sensors for the soap (heh... If you don't get it then you shouldn't) and then going to do Para Para.

Making lots of new friends and aquatinces~ It was great to meet everyone and thanks to all the staff who were constantly telling me to turn my badge around the right way. xD You guys all rock. I loooove you.

Calling up (BZ) Joe and waking him up to make him do Pocky Club deliveries. (Sorry 'bout that Joe. xD)

Also just one little nerdy one, just BEING in room 166, the programming suite. XD I felt like really privelged or something. Also, Pocky Club needed to get into the Dealers Hall to make a delivery and there was this huge line and we told the dor guy that we needed in and someone from the inside was like "Pocky Club is go". It made me feel like I was apart of a rock band or something with VIP access. XDD rofl.

Yes I gave about 10 girls a "KEWL" moment, and none of them brought an aunt for me to met.

I was saying in another thread that all the Nerd Cons in Portland need to get together and buy that closed Thunderbird hotel next to the red lion to use for Nerd Cons and rent it out as a film set. (which I could use for my script “the sorority Girls slumber party zombie massacre”)

And of course the movie has to have puppets do you think we can build the Steam Powered Gothic Lolita Mech in full size, just the cost in ribbon and lace would be prohibitive.

Going up on stage and doing the skit, dancing, and doing "crowd control" (this side scream, now this side, now...)

And meeting lots of new people. I had a chance to meet Catgirl Rin Rin, Kimiski, Vondan (thanks again for the cup 'o noodle ^^), Keenon, and soooooo many people.

And of course getting to see old friends from previous conventions. Hopefully this year I'll have a better chance of seeing you guys outside of the con now that I have a car.

Cool point # 1:
-Going to the preregistered line through the lobby, I was spotted by a Haruhi and Hikaru, who ran over, gave me fake roses, and ran off. xD;
Afterwards, I looked at my friend who was next to me and went "Eeeeeee! >////<" </squeal>

Cool point # 2:
-Going to the end of the preregistered line, I passed by Renge and someone else...(Forgot who...sorry!) and they were all "OURAN WOOOOO~~"

Cool point # 3:
-Inside the hotel to cool off a little with my friend and the same Haruhi, Hikaru, and Renge come over with a Tamaki and start talking to me.
I've posted that one so many times. xD;
Insert fangirl squeak #2 after they left.

Cool point # 4:
- I got so many compliments on and pictures of my costume. First Cons are probably fun if you don't cosplay, but it's better if you do.

Cool point # 5:
-The Ouran photoshoot on Sunday!

I can't pick just one.
However...I was thrilled at all the attention that I got.

Best moment? I'd say the Cosplay Contest. The Ninja of the Night, the FFVII skit, Konoha Confessions and, of course, BEEF MEATS, were awesome.

Also, meeting Negima was friggin' WIN.

Ok so I loved being in the cosplay, and Piano Squall, watching Sailor Moon Live Action. Running around with Tom attempting to deliver Pocky was amusing!

I liked playing DDR on standard and having people actually think I was good despite not having played in forever. The dances were AWESOME! We kept making the "wall flowers" get up and dance with us! The Anime Dating game was cute, and buying stuff in the artist alley was fun.

But most of all the PEOPLE were the best, I could just hug everyone and everyone was so helpful and honest and just cool! I miss you all ^^

I have multiple favorite moments.
- The Sailor Moon Photoshoot and getting told by all the fellow BSSM fans there that I was a great Princess Mars.
- Meeting a bunch of new people. Why is it so much easier to make friends at a con?
- Whenever people reconized me or took pictures of me.

- When I was hanging out with my new friends and they were talking about something riskay and one of my good friend's boyfriend walks out of the elevator. It was pretty embaressing but it's really funny to look back on.
- Getting the Kino no Tabi art book and counting how many Kino fans there were there. XD (At least 6 including me.

)

Overall it was just an amazing con. I loved it so much. Now for favorite after con moment.
- Finding that picture online of my friend who cosplayed Soi Fong posing with a peace sign. XD That pictures just makes my day.

seeing little bro whos gone with me to all k-cons,
bring my friend nick to it he'd never been to a con, he bought me a maromi
getting my con $$ back cuz it was my birthday awesome k-con is #1 to me
seeing all my freinds again
and going to the con with kendo boyfriend, he bought me a gackt album and a kon plushie, and seeing the amv he made up on the big screen
seening stuff we donated go for the bucks at auction and of course
baka zoku pannels
@ vondon i did see a nerdy aunt that i knew but i hadnt seen you yet
@neko i knew i could get into the dealers room on pocky club business but kendo boyfriend was like "the line dosent take that long "

1. My b/f compete in the halo 2 tourn. Even though he didnt win he came really really close.

2. Seeing all sorts of awsome cosplays.

3. Hanging out in opps for like 4 hours lol (dont ask....) Though I did get to become friends with all of yojimbo. Except I did miss the dance..T.T

4. Making a fool of myself in karoke. Always a joy.

5. I hung out with the staff and yojimbo alot this con so that was really fun.

6. HAVING ALMOST EVERYONE AT THE CON SIGN MY SKETCHBOOK!!!!

I think that one of the top spots was being interviewed by acroduster's camera guys about Pocky Club.

I loved seeing Negima on stage controlling the crowd's cheering. It was the best part of the filler in my opinion.

When Bakazoku unveiled Brad DeMoss as the Ghost during closing ceremonies. I'm a big fan of Brad and it was great of him to play along.

There was a point right after closing ceremonies when Meg (the con chair) was unwinding with us in the programming suite and we were all just chatting. We all know that the chair and directors are just fans like us but most people don't get a chance to just hang out with them. It was nice.

Feeding Noh-Face Pocky.

Having a Pocky Box come up on stage for the Pocky Club panel. Every year Pocky Club shows up at Kumoricon we meet a Pocky Box cosplayer who isn't actually part of the Club. It's very encouraging that I'm doing something right.

1.) Ouran Photo Shoot. That pretty much was the most hilarious thing ever. Except I got dropped by mori, and I also got killed by Renge. yup, all in a day's work for kyouya.

2.) Wandering around the con as Shuichi in a pink seifuku. I got quite a few weird looks, plus a few pictures taken, and a few hugs. Thankfully, no glomps happened. Didn't meet any crazy yaoi fangirls, thankfully again. Saw another crossplayer, which made me happy.

i would have to say the cosplay skit was one of the best parts cause we won best skit and i was soooooooo nervous u dont even know.

Another would have to be the fan girl support room cause i pretty much got dragged in there by screaming fan girls and then tom asked me if i could stay for a few minutes to show how to properly glomp lol

But then again it was so much fun meeting so many new friends!! like NOTN are now my homies and all and wolfwood and all the others

1) Being "the most enthusiastic" picked for the Menchi song. And getting MENCHI HUGS~!
2) OURAN PHOTOSHOOT, BOOYAKA!
3) Running in with Tamaki as fast as we could to go watch Ouran as Tamaki and Haruhi.
4) Getting chased out of the girl's bathroom as Haruhi.

6) Getting pictures of myself as Enma Ai under the tunnel. So creepy!

9) Walking into Burger King and having the whole place practically burst into cheers.
10) Telling everyone to do a barrel roll. SO ENTERTAINING~

well, i cant say that both Anime Hunters and NOTN winning the top 2 awards wasn't the highlight of the trip, Annie Maye Hunterz Pwnz Mai Sole<3

^^ Also i enjoyed calling 584678573 different Dominos Pizzas in order to find the one who delivered to the Red Lion :O

Zach, Dane and Cassie falling asleep on the floor was pretty funny too. Cassie was out for SUCH a long time! XD poor thing

The Rave was awesome, excluding the unlimited amounts of rap music the DJ had in store. >:O i think my outfit was pretty cute anyway ^^

Finally seeing Ari ( Filk Aeris) again for the first time in like a year or so was absolutly amazing...<3 I missed her so much! ( she took off to Japan)

The Anime Dating game was so much fun! I really would love to be in it again next year! ( I was the Ed this year)

One of the highlights for me was definately getting to see old friends from high school again, and sharing a room with all my favorite people. I also had a wonderful time going to the cosplay panel's, even when it meant waking up freakishly early to go get coffee first ^^;. I also got to see Miaki in the Haruhi jacket I made for her, and we got nice compliments on it, which made me haaaappy

My favorite moment was at the closing ceremonies. It was kinda quiet, and suddenly I heard "HEY BURRITO!" and so on. It was a group that was sitting next to my friends and I in line. We waited a half hour for the closing ceremonies to start. That was a good time, too. We all shared my ramune candy xD

hmmmmmmm..........probably just being there and seeing everyone cosplay. and the fact that people acutally took pictures of me was pretty cool too! i should probably get used to it if i'm gonna cosplay again.....
