Anyone for Yaoi-con?

Hey! Any other Portland folks out there heading to Yaoi-con this year? Kumoricon was so fun, it's just gotten me more excited to go! This will be my first year, and I can't manage to drag any of my boring (and/or broke) friends along. :P Hoping to find people who might be interested in roadtripping it, but even if you can't make it, would love to at least connect with some other local fans...

I wanna go, I know at least 5 people that are going that I am somewhat friends with... but... i have no money. I really shouldn't have even went to kumoricon.

Aw man! The registration for that is so lame~ I'm turning 18 on the last day of Yaoicon, so even if I would be able to leave school somehow, I wouldn't be able to go. T____T

The age thing at Kumoricon kinda ticked me off too.
Like I REALLY wanted to go the Bakazoku 18+ panel but they said I couldnt even with my guardian and her permisson. I'm 16, not 10, it's not like I've ever heard cursing and sex jokes before..... *roles eyes*  Even my sister says I probably have cursed more then them, my one bad habbit, lol. They should at least make some of that stuff 15 or 16+
Hentai I understand being more 18+ but like rating Excel Saga 17, when I own the whole sereies..... sine I was 15.

One staff memeber said she was in charge of an 18+ event and said she would feel weird with someone under 18 in there even with my guardian cause she knows what kinda of stuff goes on, well.... I wouldnt feel uncomfy, and If I did, I would just leave, no biggy.

anyway, i would go to yaoi-con, but alas it's during my college time and i do not have the money for it right now. i just started a new job and i more less hoping to go to Sakuracon next year. when i have money and get famous for my arts i plan to go....or after my college years, but K-con comes 1st cus i will go every year...religously since it began

Wait, I thought k-con HAD turned into Yaoicon?!?! XD;; Though y'know, I don't have a problem with yaoi, and most of my friends like it, but after getting a ringing in my ears from all the screeching girls at k-con... I don't think I'm gonna go to yaoicon... too traumatized. x_____x;;

I have the cash and the age but with college I just don't got the time.... I was lucky enough not to have any classes yesterday..... I think I would have died so instead I slept for 14 hours to recuperate from Kumoricon.
