Designed one completely mentally.... and failed to figure out how to work the AMV software. ^.^;
No, I'm not insane.  I'm just... happy.

I have one done.

Right now I'm contemplating entering one that I never released, since I made it using downloaded footage a few months back, when I didn't have a DVD drive.

Any thoughts?

I have one done, but I'm going to revise it.  Also I want to get at least one more, if not two, done before August 8th. So yeah

One completely put together, but needs serious tweaking before submission (particularly needs to get rid of fades; I went fade-happy and now regret it).

Also trying to figure out what the heck kind of file to use.  It's only my second time making one of these, and my first time trying to export it and enter it in something, and I'm cobbling it together on Windows Movie Maker, which is mendo kusee, to say the least, so...yeah.  Anyone here have WMM and a recommendation on which available format to export in?

Just a reminder: DO NOT encode in WMV.
Only AVI's and MPGs will be selected.
(No RA's or MOV's either)

You MAY have missed the staff cut-off. It depends on when they LAST pick-up AMV's from the PO Box. I had e-mailed programming staff and recommended TODAY (9-Aug-04) as their LAST pick-up day at the PO box for AMV submissions. (That's what the IRS would do if tax day falls on a Sunday - carry over to the next business day.)

So, if you DRIVE it to whatever city the Kumoricon staff PO is in, TODAY, pay FULL postage for them to move it the last 75 feet or so, and the USPS folks actually stuff it in the right PO box TODAY, then a staff person just MIGHT pick it up today, (which is what I had suggested to them) and I MIGHT get it and therefore I'd be able to work it into the program.

Otherwise, you might be - - - hozed. (Bummer.)

From the "AMV Contest" thread:

Quote from: "Geirr"
I'd like to ask that entries be burned to CD and MAILED to me,
and I'd set the deadline at IN MY Hands (or mailbox) by 28-Aug-04.
I'd like to use the organizational address of Kumoricon if the
folks in charge of that decision would consent. (Please?  ^.^; )

But later on the in the same thread:

Quote from: "Anonymous"
Kumoricon Staff has set a mail-in deadline of 8-August-04.
