a big gaping whole in ie was found earlyer this week there is no patch now
its rated as exteme

Solution:
Disable Active Scripting support for all but trusted web sites.

Filter "Location:" headers containing the "URL:" prefix in a proxy server.

Use another browser.
i recomend firefox
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
it also has some thing ie dosent like popup blocking
plz do something so you dont get anything nasty on your system
its also easy to install it transvers all your favs and cookie when you first load it up

Yes, dealing with public computers for a job, I abhor IE.  It has been, and always will be, a security nightmare that should be put to sleep in an Old Yeller fashion.  I find that Mozilla works like a dream, there is only 1 site that I visit that I have to use IE for, and that's for the BBC Radio1 broadcast.  It also forces me to use another program I abhor, RealPlayer.  However, the music is excellent, good enough to make me use tools of the devil.

You shouldn't insult the devil so. >.<

Yes, if anyone out there is using IE, please switch to Firefox, it will make your migraines much less in comparisson. ^.^

That's weird I've never had any problems with IE.
And now I'm a catgirl?

was all I could hear as I lay broken in the darkness
My own voice faltered
My wings no longer had the strength to fly

It's all about Maxthon . . . but I'd take IE over Netscape ANY day.

I am surprised people still use IE.

I'v been using Mozilla for along time, and then switched to Firefox (because I liked it better).

My only problems are sometimes some scripts do not work, but I can deal with that.

Oh, and did anyone else NOT update to SP2, knowing it would have alot of security problems?  :)

Just like when SP1 first came out......

I'v heard it makes XP WORSE.

Yet, Microsoft is trying to downplay that, and still says it works great.
