i submitted a budget request for my panel, and i was wondering when it would be approved or not.

also, are panelist given the money before hand, or supposed to keep the spending records and then be reimbursed?

hi, my name's ellen. i'm not the programming director, and i'm not the panel coordinator, but i noticed that you had posted some valid questions, and i wanted to be sure you felt heard. i'm going to be coordinating some panels myself, so i've thought about the same questions.

i will send little notes to brenda and gina for you on ym alerting them to your thread.

good luck...what are your panels? mine are related to fanfiction and fan art, plus some fan improvizational theatre games.

i did email Brenda about it, she told me to keep records of what i spend and i'll be reimbursed.

but what i'd really like to know is if/when my proposed budget amount will be approved (need to know before spending anything!), as i'd like to start getting a couple things for my panel soon (door prizes, etc)

i'm doing the EGL Tea Party panel ^^

I may not be Brenda, but living with her has its priviledges... let me see if I can help a little.

Brenda has been going over the budget numbers, and she mentioned that she just about had them figured out.  So if you don't hear something in the next week or so, I'd say email her again to ask - but it sounded like that if she wasn't completely done already, it would be a very short time until she was.
