Which Naruto is preferred for PS2?

So, I recently played Naruto: Narutimett Hero 3.  I was impressed at the character selection, but you cannot change the power of your special during combat.  Also, when using a special, it only goes through one screen transition, and doesn't continue.  >.>

Half the fun is the frantic button mashing or analog stick rotating a couple times in a row to build on tension and suspense. XD

Personally, if this is in the game room, Narutimett Hero 2 all the way.

Personally, I liked Naruto: Narutimett Hero 2 better, mainly because it was the only PS2 I played for it. XD yes the craziness was great, though the controls were kinda strange.

And isn't Clash of the Ninja's the dubbed version of the japanese naruto for the GC

Yeah, "Clash of the Ninja" is Gekitou Ninja Taisen for the Gamecube.

Except with horrible voiceovers, and Zabuza sounding like Godzilla.

Someone will have Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 on a modded Cube at the con, I am sure.

I'll be bringing my modded ps2 and cube for good measure with the imports as well. But I prefer Naruto Narutimett Hero 3. Both are good but I enjoy having more characters to play as.
Bamboo + Cellphone...I see possibilities....

It's not in the US yet.  Their talking about a version from Japan.  It's like the Naruto we have over here (which would be #1) except with more characters, more moves, and (with a few exceptions from the sounds of things) more improvments.

Kinda gives you an idea how long a game can be in Japan before it comes over here.

I like the Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3  over  4.  XP

Anywho, back to the thread topic.  Narutimett Hero 2 has a button masher feature during specials.  In Narutimett Hero 3, it can be changed to either:

1) Button Masher
2) Pressing buttons on-screen in a certain order
3) Rotate the analog stick

I'm fine with all of these, but there are some people who aren't good at the button mashing part, so they would side with Narutimett Hero 3.

I'm still for 2, but who here is okay with button mashing?

well see, with NH3, the player has the option of choosing one of the three to activate when performing an ougi.  So if the player doesn't want to button mash, he can just pick that in the options menu.  Only when the opponent activates his ougi will that player have to button mash, but hey, everyone has a weakness in one of those three choices anyways, so in a sense it's a strategic thing.

Go for NH3.  more characters, more strategies, and combos are linked.
