so, what've you guys heard?
I've been checking this site daily for updates. I love the subbed trailer.

http://www.adventchildren.net/

and the official Square Enix site,

http://www.square-enix.co.jp/dvd/ff7ac/

Anyone else have sufficient buzz about it? Like who we can get a dub from? Heck, I wouldn't mind watching an original with no sub/dubbing at all!
 :D

In other news I passed 100 posts! look at me go!

Have they even gotten dubbing rights to it? (if so, please tell me who holds them and how to get ahold of them--I'd LOVE to do Tifa's voice!)

Tifa's not alive in Advent Children.

She may die *during* it, or only appear in flashbacks, but she's sure as hell in the film. There's a still of her fighting someone, with her in mid-kick.

We need somebody to smack PIE!

You goof, if Aerith is speaking then they're going to need somebody for Tifa. I think that we could do it at the convention.

Contest: Be part of the Kumoricon Fandub!
Winners get to participate in the dubbing and get free copies of the finished DVD.

I'm just glad nobody took me dead seriously, or else I'd have fanboys/girls pounding down the door of my apartment, firing off gunblades and slapping me with staffs alike.

Good thing I own a sword of my own. ;)

It's the continuation of Final Fantasy VII. Two years have passed since the ending of the game, and the movie starts off from there.

I'd be more worried about the people who've figured out Ultima.

Bah, screw Ultima, I wield the Light of Judgement! I'd like to see Ultima obliterate an entire town from miles and miles away...

Thereby destroying the same planets multiple times? "I disbelieve" should take care of that.

Unless you meant the *big* one, in which case--remember how long it took to get there? LoJ should detonate it at a nice distance. Can't have anyone ELSE destroy this world before I get to...I mean before Kefka gets to.

If it's BLOCKING your view of saturn, then perhaps when using the Super Nova spell, you shouldn't have it DESTROY Saturn...  =^~.~^=

I'm not sure why she didn't post it here, but princessfrodo explained to me that advent children is a DVD release and not a theatrical release.

I guess maybe I should do better research.

A friend of mine had a really bad bootleg of one of the inuyasha movies, where the guys was obviously hold a camera, and sometimes his arm would get tired, or he'd look over somewhere else and take the camera with him! The camera was moving so much I could only watch a couple of mins. before getting motion sickness.   8O
