What kind of Craft Demo do YOU want to See/Do?

I have been shanghaied into doing a craft demo at K Con 06.

My specialty is leather; I also do some work in metal and cast resin and some clothing.  I mostly do mundan reapirs but also doing more and more costume accessories and a few whole outfits.

(I’m back from a 15 year Hiatus from Tech Theater and Video Production).

What would you like to see done bearing in mind we have 2 hours, one for lecture and one for hands on practice.

Heavy  power tools or a forge are out so no full size aluminum Buster Sword.  And also due to time (and ventilation) resin casting is out.

And fell free to post ideas out of my area as other crafts people will be there to

A few ideas I had

A Naruto Head band in leather and steel (with etching demo)
A Link Vambracer from Twilight Princess

Traditional Japanese style cloth making or hints would be fabulous and prop making.  I second ML's request.

i don't think i have the grace for it, but i've been intrigued by japanese calligraphy for years (even before "the pillow book").

also i grew up in a house that had some of those interesting pieces of art, i don't know what they're called, but it's like painting on slats of wood strung together?

anyone know what i mean?

i would love a basic sewing session (seriously)

oh and dan dearest. if you're referring to me i may have corralled but i didn't shanghai. heck i didn't even lasso. though truth be told, the first animated figure i wanted to be was wonderwoman, and in addition to that hip metal bra what i really wanted was the lasso of truth.

Oh I like to think of it as shanghied compleate with the opium in the drinks and a trapdoor leading to the river and a waiting ship.

I was a weirdo I was more excited when wonder woman was in her mousey secretary outfits in the first season set in 1940's.  But if we are talking about Wonder Girl she was a tempting older woman when I was watching the show, along with Jan Brady, Dyna Girl, Holly Marshall and Penny Robinson.

You should realy look into the history of the man who created Wonder Woman
