Which KH song do you like better

OMG thats so hard to choose between... It's basically impossible. I want to choose Passion but then I get all sentimental for KH and want to choose Simple and Clean, but then I want to choose Passion again... *refuses to vote*

That is a really tough call. I lvoe both songs, so i'm going to have to make my decision based on how well the each song fit with both Kingdom Hearts openings.

And from that, I choose Passion.

Technically Passion is the Japanese opening, and Sanctuary is the English version. I like em both though

That is one thing I forgot to mention. I also love both versions, but I really wish they had kept the Japanese version for the American release. It just flowed a little better.

The way they matched Simple and Clean to the the first KH intro was kind of bad. It is a wonderful song, they just matched it wrong.

You have to remember that Sanctuary and Passion have completely different lyrics too. It's not just translated, they only have the same music. Thats why they are so different.

I like all of them, actually, but if I devided it up between english and japanese, I would say I like Hikari more than Simple & Clean, and Sanctuary more than Passion.

So, since neither of the ones I like are actual choices, I won't be voting.

I side note, I heard in an interview Hikaru said she wrote Sanctuary better, and had a heckuva time coming up with japanese lyrics that held the same meaning and emotion. The songs are different, because of the lyrics, yet because of the composition, they are alike.

Its funny in a way.

I wish both KH games had Japanese dialouge options.

One of the reasons I enjoy the .hack games so much is that you can switch dialouge over to japanese, and have english subtitles appear on the screen, rather than hear the english voices. Thats how I played the entire game.

I wish all games had such options.

Personally i love Utada Hikaru, Kingdom Hearts, and both songs to death!! It's a hard choice... but i think something about passion does it more for me, but maybe thats just because i havent listened to simple and clean in a while. I think i might do that now...

What are people's thoughts on Sanctuary though???

I love both songs, I only made my decision based on the CG to Kingdom Hearts II.

I prefer Sanctuary to Passion. Thats also based on the fact that I have seen the opening cinematics in both versions. I still think Sanctuary was better.

Maybe thats just me. However, I do feel that whichever language Hikaru sings in, it's going to be good.

Yeah i liked them both alot. I dont think i can decide between the two of them. @_@

And i totally Agree, Utada is amazing no matter which language she is singing in, i cant wait for the release of "Ultra Blue" in June <333

I second that. If I were to burn a mix of songs with Passion in the bunch, I'd put both versions.

Btw, is Ultra Blue her new album?
